Location is verry good

Posted Jan 8, 2017
This is more of an apartment hotel with a reception desk so don't expect luxury treatment. However for the price and the location it is a definite bargain. Room is big; clean and it more like a studio apartment. No room service and breakfast is not good and too expensive. But the location of this and price makes it totally worth it. It's 15 min walking to the central of vienna and the tram station in from of the hotel allows you to reach any place in the centre very quickly even on bad weather. Also if you book sightseeing it is part of the hotels where they pick you up and drop you off at the hotel so it is a bonus. The price is very good as it is about 10-15% cheaper than any central hotel so really worth it especially on long stays where you don't want to break the bank

Nice Hotel. Convenient to Central Vienna

Posted Nov 30, 2016
Pros: CLEAN, AND A GREAT AREA. EASY TO FIND AND NICE LOCATION OVERLOOKING THE CANAL.
Cons: The heat in the room, which when we complained the staff said they knew, but couldnt do anything about it. I find this hard to believe.
Location: GREAT LOCATION. Easily walkable to central area, buses, trams and tubes.
Lovely hotel, easy to find when getting lost in Vienna. Rooms lovely, clean and great showers. However, the room was unbearably hot. Too hot and unhealthy, as you could hardly breath at night and my husband ended the holiday with an horrendous cough. We asked to open window but was told we wasnt allowed to. We complained everysingle day, of our four day stay to the woman at the desk (who I might add was not a helpful front desk). When I asked questions of where to go and how to get there, she just said... "go to your room and use the wi-fi"!! We nearly missed out on a day trip to Salzburg because she was so unhelpful. Fortunately a cab to the Tourist Info, saved the day., On booking out, we advised that we liked the hotel, but hated the heat in the room and the same women said... "why didnt you ask me for an upgrade, where you can open the windows!!!! I couldnt believe my ears. Having complained to her, several times. The young gentleman at the desk tried to be helpful, but she interrupted him to tell us to "use our room". We were disappointed that the taxi we had telephoned to arrange and emailed to confirm, did not arrive and the very nice young girl on arrival told me that she would arrange for the manager, who we had arranged it with to contact me, on the monday. However, she didnt. All in all a lovely hotel, clean and in a great area. However, unfortunately the other lady on the desk needs some tourist/customer care training.

Excellent hotel . We like it .

Posted Oct 28, 2016
Pros: Well thought-out interior as well as in most of the Accor hotels . Spacious room . Kitchen equipped with everything we needed and it all in good condition . We felt as if we were at home .
Cons: We like this hotel .
Location: It located on the periphery of the historical center of Vienna. No need for public transport to see all beauty of the city. Wien Mitten is only 5min

Excellent stay in a perfect location

Posted Oct 28, 2016
This hotel was the perfect solution for us. We were able to eat breakfast every morning before we left to tour for the day. The location was perfect for seeing all the amazing things Vienna has to offer. The staff were outstanding.

This was a wonderful experience.

Posted Oct 27, 2016
Location: For us the location was perfect. The city centre and a metro station are within very easy walking distance. You are right on the Ringstrasse.
We had booked a studio that turned out to be too small and we could not open the windows that looked out on a very tiny inner space. I went downstairs and asked the gentleman-- Mr. Al-Hashimi -- at the desk if we could upgrade to a better room. He was extremely nice and told me that he could give me a better room the next day. I would have to pay an extra 10 Euros per night, which was fine with me. The studio the lady manning the desk gave us the next day really was very nice. It was large, bright, airy and had a wonderful view of the city through two large windows. A small tip for those who want to stay at this hotel. Avoid the regular studios and ask for the superior studios. If possible, try to get room no. 311. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot, which you fail to see on their site in Expedia. Perhaps they will consider providing wide angle views of the hotel from across the street and from the upper floors of their hotel so travellers can get a better sense of the beautiful location. It is very clean, the furniture is minimalist, as opposed to ostentatious, but good, and the kitchen has enough space and equipment to allow you to cook a decent meal. But the best part for me were the members of the staff. So friendly, considerate and caring. They made my stay a memorable experience. Thank you Paula, Mr. Al-Hashimi, Mr. Anil, and the kind lady who gave us the lovely room, for such a pleasant experience. Next time we are in Vienna we know where we will be staying.

Who designed this terrible bed?

Posted Oct 12, 2016
Pros: the staff. the room itself (apart from bed and bathroon). the kitchenette. the location
Cons: get rid of the terrible bed. change the tiles in the bathroom.
Location: Excellent location. close to three underground stations. close to the boats to Bratislava. within walking dostance of St. Stephen's Cathedral .
The hotel is at an excellent location. Three subway station at almost the same distance, a supermarket nearby, and close to touristic attractions. Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. Good size room and well equipped kitchen. The main drawback was the bed. A very large bed (could be a positive point, no in this case) but very high, with a wide rim around it and a cabinet stuck next to it on both sides. It was nearly impossible to get on and off the bed, especially for me, not being a tall person. Later I was able to push the cabinets aside and get off the bed a little more easily, but it was definitely a big mistake in room design for a hotel. Another mistake was a very very black bathroom. Floors; walls, everything except for the sink, toilet bowl and shower floor - all in black... It felt like a coffin, and was far too dark for a bathroom. Since it is a pension, I got my room cleaned only once in my 10-day stay. When I asked when they were going to empty by wastebasket, I was told they could do it for an extra charge... But all in all, I loved the place and will definitely go there again.

Very good hotel

Posted Sep 18, 2016
Location: Location is OK. 10 minute walk to the Hop on hop off bus, 10 minute walk from the main station (where the train to the airport is).
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is pleasant and you would do very well in booking here. The advantage of the small kitchen is that you can have breakfast in bed. There is a supermarket nearby. Overall quite a good hotel.

Nice hotel close to trams and metro

Posted Sep 15, 2016
Pros: Loved the location and very friendly staff.
Cons: All that could be improved is that we would have liked a basket of teabags, coffee sachets and small milks in the room.
Location: Perfectly located with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
Location was perfect, close to tram stop, metro and a short walk into the city centre. Facilities were great, lovely large room with a great little kitchen and good air con. The bed was big and comfortable and we even had a nice view.
