Bad location, too expensive.

Posted Oct 17, 2016 on Hotels
At least a 10 minute walk to the closest U-Bahn station, and then it's 8 stops to the city center. Very inconvenient location. Also for the exorbitant price I would have expected breakfast to be included, but they wanted an extra 10 Euros. The room was fine, so I can't knock that, but I would never stay there again.

Hidden Gem few minutes from City Center

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: We also walked from the hotel towards the "Zipperstraus" train entrance and across the way is a cute pub style eatery with great food, other bars too
Breakfast is 10 euros each includes eggs, ham with cheese, breads, juices, lattes, espresso, yogurt, cereal and fruit. Rooms are spacious and comfy, walk in shower was convenient and decent closet space. Location: This hotel closet to the main train station of Wein Hopbanhof( we took out of country trains here). Local trains you take 71 train and exit either St. Marx or LItfabstrabe, hotel is near car dealers. Make sure to pay for local train pass as well, we lost our ticket and was asked to provide it to police and fined 100 euros a person for losing it, don't lose it! Must see: We took 71 train to Opera house which is closet to City Center where Cathedral was located. It took about 15 minutes by train. Figlmuller tourist spot for huge size schnitzel, Aida is a cute pink café with cute treats, Wien Bierklinik is a cute 1400's style inn with 9 beers on tap and great food and atmosphere. Julius Meinl Market has great items to purchase from many countries found some traditional pasta from Italy, candy from UK and many more, must visit.

The hotel is new, modern and clean.

Posted Oct 7, 2016
Pros: Is nice and modern.
Cons: The staff is not enough friendly and didn't respond to my argues to replace towels.
Location: The location is not so close to the centre , but transportation is well working,
The hotel is a good place ,not far from the centre, the public transportation is good. I think the staff is not friendly , the room is comfortable, but the staff not responding to clean or to change towels at least every 2 days,I found towels on the floor as if I found the room without changes , The hotel is great ,only needs a good staff.

Close to the airport and train station.

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Pros: We really enjoyed Breakfast and it was outstanding. The quality of the food and its presentation was very good.
Cons: Complimentary coffee for guests during the day will be very nice as its common in USA.
Location: We find location good being close to train and tram station. Nothing much to do near by.
We stayed for the first time at this hotel. It was very convenient for us to go from Vienna airport to the hotel via train. It took about 10 - 15 minutes from airport to hotel. Our room was very quiet as it was not facing the main road. The size of the room was very decent. The hotel building seems to be new, the staff could communicate well in English with us. Over all we had good experience and will stay again at this hotel. The front desk staff, Ms. Jasmin Kiker and Ms. Amandeep were very helpful in giving us valuable tips about visiting the city through trams and Buses.

Modern look hotel

Posted Sep 21, 2016
Pros: The comfort
Cons: the staff to be friendlier and transportation to the main train station (OBB)
Location: not much to do nearby, the local tram stop is within walking distance, a 15 mns ride to city center.
The hotel appearance was overall very nice. The staff was just ok, nothing out of the ordinary. It would be nice if they provided a shuttle to at least the main train station, since everyone seems to be travelling by train.

Nice hotel next to No 71 Tram stop for downtown.

Posted Sep 11, 2016
Pros: Good price, friendly staff and not far from public transport.
Cons: More choice on the bar menu
Location: 8 stops from the State Opera House; 10 minutes' walk from Line U3 (Underground)
Enjoyed our stay with friendly staff. There is a computer at the lobby which is linked to a printer so if you need to do online check-in, it is very convenient. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant that serves dinner. There is a small bar that has a limited menu. We arrived at the hotel at 8.30pm, and not knowing the surrounding area, we decided just to use the bar to have a snack, but all the salad dishes were sold out.

Should not be rated as a 4-Star.

Cons: No ramp to roll your luggage from parking to Hotel, requires to be carried over 20 steps. Good luck with your heavy luggage. Breakfast not included.
Staff had no idea about how to get around in town...

Better Options for the Price

Posted Jun 11, 2016
Pros: - Parking included for free (somewhat gated lot nearby), clean rooms, modern design, location for price good
Cons: - Staff, room layout
Hotel is on the outskirts of Vienna, about a 10-20 minute trip on a tram gets you outside the "ring". Main problem with hotel came from the staff and layout of the room. The staff lied about charging for breakfast (said it was included when it was not), staff was not knowledgeable about the Vienna cards available. Additionally, the room layout is made of the single business traveler in mind. The bathroom has a fake stained glass window that shines in the bedroom when the bathroom light is on. It is blindingly bright for anyone in the room in the dark. Overall will not stay here, or any other Austria Trend hotel again.

Good Hotel

This is a nice big hotel with a great room and a nice big bath. We really enjoyed our stay here. This hotel is also close to downtown. IT is a good hotel with brand new amenities.
