This was a really cool hotel—like nothing we’ve ever stayed in before. It was very hip, relaxing, and convenient. The staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful. I would definitely like to visit one of their other properties.

The staff are very warm and friendly. The property is centrally located, very close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel breakfast is great. It is however a boutique and comes with its quirks and minor impracticality. For example, while the room has a nice vintage speaker and CD player with a disc that plays some nice quirky music, it lacks some basic appliances like a kettle. Guests can access the living room with hot water, tea and espresso machine but it does mean you need to dress up appropriately to get a glass of warm water. Room also don’t have a fridge. Overall minor inconveniences except the lack of a shower head attachment which is quite annoying as you will need to hold the shower head while you shower.

What an absolute wonderful experience! This was a special trip for me to visit the Christmas markets of Vienna with my son. From the moment I came in the door it felt like home. They are truly crazy for you. From the decor which is cosy, cute and private, the service and kindness of each and every staff member. I engaged primarily with Simone for the day I booked and cannot say enough about his excellent customer service. Just the kindest young man. All other staff were excellent as well. The breakfast which is included was amazing and made with the freshest organic ingredients. The chef and his staff were also super especially Tobias who was always so helpful in answering my questions. My hope is to return to Vienna one day and I will definitely stay again at the Hollmann Beletage Design & Boutique Hotel. Sending the warmest regards to everyone and Merry Christmas

Happy find and crazy for us!
Sara checked us in promptly once we arrived and gave us an orientation of the services available at the hotel and walked us to our room. The room was spacious with a good view of the street and a tiny portion of St. Stephens North Tower. The breakfast was a la carte, freshly made by Bernie... so delish! The spa was a great place to unwind at the end of the day (included in the price of our room). Great location to Vienna sites. I would stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel in central Vienna. Discrete entrance, with reception on the second floor Just round the corner from the Stephansdom. Lovely room, very stylish and spotlessly clean. Friendly, professional and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfasts, with eggs cooked to order and a good selection of breads, home-made jams etc. I would highly recommend staying here.

I have the highest praise for the service in this hotel. It was exceptional. They put so much thought into the smallest details: from the chalkboard message next to our room welcoming our family to their hotel to the petit fours and sparkling wine on our bed to help unwind after the long flight. The beds were comfortable and the room was squeaky clean. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal. We were there for 4 nights, and there was a different printed menu each day. On our last day, we learned that the manager does a lot of the baking-- my husband loved her blueberry cake. In the late afternoons there is a complementary snack and beer. The front desk staff was so pleasant, informative, and helpful. I could go on and on. The location is also great, very central to the sites, subway, tons of restaurants and shopping. The only piece of advice I have for the hotel is to check their air conditioning system; I wish the room had been cooler. All in all, everything was outstanding.

Let me just say: wow! The attention to detail here is top notch. I’ve checked into a lot of hotels in my day and have never had a personal tour before (Patrick, you are terrific!). This hotel is small and friendly, sparkling clean, is filled with personal touches like pastries in your room, a gourmet breakfast, and more, and is interesting and quirky from a design perspective. It is in the very heart of everything. The hotel was a real highlight in our trip to Vienna.

To start off with the many positives: The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and helpful; the location is superb, a short distance walk to Stephenplatz and also near many metro stations; the room/premises were very clean; breakfast was delicious and it was nice to have different options everyday. There are nice little breakout areas throughout the property which are great to just hang out if you don't want to stay in your room. A few minor points: like others have commented, I did not like having the sink in the bedroom. It really isnt practical at all. But I found out subsequently that you can request a room with a more conventional layout. I would suggest it to anyone planning to stay. Also, it would be great to be provided with disposable slippers like many 4/5 star hotels do. There weren't any in the room and we had forgotten to pack ours. Finally, it would be nice if the reception could be staffed for slightly longer in the evenings, maybe until 11pm We were never back in before 9pm and there were questions we wanted to ask the reception but there was nobody there. There is something nice about being greeted by a friendly face at reception when you return back to a hotel in an unfamiliar city. Overall we would def be happy to stay here again, but in a room with a more conventional bathroom layout.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Hollman Beletage for a city break in Vienna and absolutely loved this hotel. It is tucked down a quiet street so not noisy, but is only 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and the city centre. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and helpful - I left a camera bag on the train from the airport by accident and the hotel staff registered a lost and found report for me, and guided me to a nearby pharmacist to replace some meds that were in the bag. Every member of staff would say hello when we passed. We had a lovely room with a four poster bed in the middle, a well stocked mini bar and cakes for us to enjoy. The a la carte breakfast was delicious and the free beer and sandwiches (afternoon) and whisky nightcap were very welcome. The hotel is perfectly located for the city centre, everything is very walkable, and little touches like free umbrellas to borrow made it feel like home. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Wonderful vienna stay
Lovely stay in the heart of vienna, fantastic location close to all central attractions, clean comfortable room, friendly staff. Only things lacking were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the shower was not very powerful or hot

Dear Rebecca, how nice, thank you for the particularly great review! We would also like to respond to your suggestion regarding the tea/coffee making facilities: In order to provide our guests with tea/coffee even outside of the reception hours from 7:00 to 20:00, we are currently in the process of restoring an old kitchen credenza, which will find its place in the living room. On it will be a kettle, a Nespresso machine and all other ingredients for a cozy evening. We look forward to seeing it on your next visit :) Kathi & the Hollmann Team
