Perfekt hotell i perfekte omgivelser!Posted Jun 18, 2015 on Hotels

Great findPosted Jun 10, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed three nights at Das Tyrol early June 2015. Excellent location and very helpful staff. We had a suite which was spacious and I am sure worth the extra cost! Would highly recommend Das Tyrol for anyone visiting Vienna.

Outstanding boutique hotel in the heart of Vienna'Posted Jun 6, 2015 on Hotels
Centrally and conveniently located and walking distance to all attractions, this is one of the best small hotels we have stayed in over decades of traveling the world. The staff is its most outstanding consistently superlative feature for the traveler who appreciates knowledgeable, friendly and energetic receptionists, eager to pass on whatever you need to know and then facilitate it for you. Their local network is extensive and they can give you tickets to most events at the hotel after calling the venue to arrange seats.Bettina, Nadine and Melanie are to be especially complimented. Outstanding full breakfast also with eggs to order. If we return to Vienna, we'll stay at Das Tyrol.

Great location and lovely hotelPosted May 31, 2015
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was served efficiently and good choice of food. Quirky art work made the stay even more enjoyable.
Location: Just off Mariahilfer Strasse and next to Museum Quarter. Also just a couple of blocks from Naschmarkt - and Cafe Sperl even closer!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. So convenient for access to main tourist sights, either by walking or using U-Bahn.

Just perfectPosted May 27, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel couldn't do enough for us before our stay - I'd emailed them with a million questions trying to sort out a surprise weekend away for my husband - and each email was answered within minutes with a thoughtful and helpful answer. Hotel is quiet, and situated perfectly for both shopping and sightseeing. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the breakfast is excellent. Couldn't have had a better experience with them, look forward to staying again.

Small luxury hotel beutifully locatedPosted May 19, 2015
Das Tyrol is a unique place...beautifully decorated, small and luxurious, it is located right in the heart of the museums area and within walking distance of the "ring." The owner is an art collector, and art work like paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and vases from talented Austrian and international artists is displayed throughout. The staff is very friendly, competent, and helpful. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we ever had in any hotel ... Freshest breads and croissants, fruits, cereals, cold cuts (including speck, a smoked prosciutto typical of northern Italy and the Tyrol area), smoked salmon, cheeses of all kinds, eggs made to order, and, last but not least...prosecco! We loved staying at Das Tyrol, and we hope to be able to go back there some day.

The perfect inner city retreatPosted May 10, 2015 on Hotels
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They spoke English well, but also were patient with my limited German. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise - the dining room is quirky but lovely, and the daily spread was full of fresh bread, meats, cheeses and eggs to order. The location was perfect - close to the inner city, the streetcar and subway were only 2 blocks away, and yet the hotel is quiet. The room was spacious and very clean with comfortable furnishings. We will definitely go back and/or recommend it.
