Enjoyed our stay at the hotel and especially appreciated the availability of an early check in. We really liked the proximity to places to eat and the short walk to the museum district, which is why you pay more for an older room like this. That being said, the family suite was spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were also very comfortable! The only downsides were that the floors were dirty/dusty and the woman at the check in desk was very unfriendly, but this didn't deter us.

Just what we wanted!
We appreciated how comfortable, clean, and convenient Haydn Hotel was at a very reasonable price. The staff exhibited classical Viennese professionalism and made our stay worriless and pleasant. We will certainly stay here again!

Fin beliggenhed. Rene værelser, men i forhold til prisen manglede shampoo, balsam, bodylotion. Ingen mulighed for at lave kaffe på værelset og ingen mulighed for at få nogen stedet på hotellet. Morgenmad havde forventer højere standard.

Great place to stay really clean, staff was super friendly, and attent. The only negative i have is the noisy ally on the side. Too many drunks, it was lod sometimes during the night.

No laundry soap or dish soap provided. No kitchen towels provided. No iron board in room. Bed Sheets got dirty but was not changed everyday. View is terrible on the balcony. Overpriced for what you get. Not recommended.

Location is excellent. The hotel is old and very basic. The beds are very small, the TV did not work and the toilet seat was as completely unattached from the toilet. (Made it very hard to sit)

Great location and clean. But very dated interiors, no air con or ability to turn down heating, not very welcoming and warm receptionist. No tea, coffee in the room.

Magnificent place
Spacey family room, rich breakfast at a terrace overlooking a terrific scene, warm and caring service! Enjoyed a lot! One thing to be aware of, is that the way up to the hotel is not for weak hearted - sometimes the drive is on a narrow weaving road with no safe fence on the road side. Night drives might be challenging.

A good choice in Vienna
Nothing fancy, but a comfortable, clean hotel on the main shopping street in Vienna. Hotel is very quiet, but the street can be noisy. Staff is friendly. Lots of restaurants nearby and very close to U-bahn.

Run down and not close to anything.
There were broken door knobs and the shower door would not close. I would not recommend staying here for that, and the fact that it is not close to anything useful.

Dear Guest, We are surprised about your feedback, we are in the middle of the biggest shopping street and 10 min by walk from the center, Museums and other sightseeings in walking distance, that will be the first time that a guest mention that is not close to anything. About the broken door knobs, unfortunaely we could not see anything broken, as the maid everyday check the rooms and also did not see anything broken. A mixed impression
Booked a double room for single use. First night, was given a single single on the top floor that was bigger and clean. Then was moved to an apartment (suite) which was nice and big, but the decor is really dated; the bedroom in that suite is rather warm with window facing a common corridor (ie. not possible to open, even if it could be opened). On the whole overall value is good.

Great location to stay in Vienna
The hotel was great! Staff was very kind. They let us leave our luggage at the hotel on the day we checked out. We picked those up in the afternoon on the way to the Main railway station. The bus 13A leaves a few steps from the hotel and takes to the railway station, Super convenient location,because the U3 station is also few steps away the hotel. It was raining the morning we checked out, and they let us borrow a couple of umbrellas for the day! We would go back any time. One thing bother us a little bit. There was unfortunately a group of drunk men on the street our windows opened to, and they were noisy both Friday night as well as a Saturday morning( homeless), and urinated at the church’s wall next to our hotel. We can not blame the hotel’s management to this mishap.

The rooms were being painted while we stayed and there was a disgusting smell from the bathroom the whole time.

It is a nice and quiet hotel (actually a "Pansion" in the building pictured on Orbitz. The staff members were polite, The room was clean and adequate. The location is close to the city center and a subway station. We would stay here again.

Several places to sleep. Temperature control is odd as room temperature linked to hot water. Left the windows open to keep water warm enough for showers. Clean inside.

Perfect location!
My family and I have stayed here many times. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a great shower. The hotel sits on a beautiful street with plenty of shopping, and local restaurants. It’s only a few steps from the metro. Perfect location!

A good experience.
The hotel was very clean, quiet and staff very helpful. The air conditioning was good (a must with the warm weather). One minor point, it would have been good to have a tea/coffee machine in the room. Otherwise excellent place to stay, very well positioned. Would book again!

good basic hotel
On a mostly pedestrian shopping street, just a 12 minute walk to the Museum Quarter and the Hofburg beyond. THe U3 subway (Neubaugasse) is 2 minutes away and we found the public transportation system very convenient. the hotel was basic but clean and very helpful staff.

Great location very clean room
I was overall very happy about the hotel. First of all the location is premium. It is on Mariafilferstrasse- the very street for shopping. It is centrally located. It takes 17 minutes walk to the west train station. 17 minutes to it’s a state opera. Subway U3 is 100 yards away. Take U3 and change to CAT (city airport train) within an hour you can get to the airport. The cost is 2+12=14 euro. You can Uber it for 30. The room is very clean and very quiet. You will hear the noise of people walk in the hallway. But since it is only few units, it happens rarely. Once people in their rooms, you don’t hear anything. I paid less than $150 for my 2 day stay and I couldn’t be happier. Of course one more thing will make me happier, which I suggested to the hotel, they should have a coffee maker or microwave at each room.
