Beautiful hotel close to the Vienna AirportPosted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Guests have more amenities like water to drink in the main lobby on arrival. I also noticed coffee juice and sandwiches laid out for early departures
I was able to have several glasses of water on arrival at the hotel in the lobby. This is new. I also had a cup of coffee, juice and water in the morning when leaving to catch my first flight back to North America. These features are a definite improvement over my previous stays at this hotel.

Nice Hotel, but two tier roomsPosted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: The beds were very comfortable, ditto the bathroom, nice soaps and moisturizers. TV had two or more English Channels. Room service was good; costly.
Cons: Snooty reception staff could use some good service attitude adjustments. A cheaper buffet breakfast.
Location: Hotel is at Schwechat International Airport in Vienna, very convenient to the train station and the terminal (across the street). Eat at the airport.
We bought the mystery hotel deal with Expedia, were given NH Hotel at Schwechat International Airport in Vienna. It was obvious from the woman's manner at reception that we were a lower class customer with a discount room. This hotel does not provide breakfast when the room is discounted, normally included in a full price room. We were asked if we wanted separate rooms as I wear no finger jewellery when travelling. I found that a bit obnoxious. In Austria and Germany, ladies should wear their wedding rings on the right hand, fourth finger. On the left fourth, that is an engagement finger. We stayed at this hotel twice, once on the way out to Stuttgart, and then again on the way back from Stuttgart before leaving Vienna for London. The second night there, we were given a room with no airflow, and being late (we arrived at 10 PM, there are no technical staff on duty), they asked if we would prefer a fan or another room. We opted for the new room, so had to pack up and move down the hall. The new room was much nicer, a larger bed, terry towel bath robes and slippers for the cold floors, a much nicer bathroom, room safe and room snack bar plus drinks. However, only ONE bottle of water is complimentary, so be careful not to drink more or you will pay Euro4.90 for a small bar of sparkling mineral water. Room service was fairly quick, Spaghetti Carbonara delivered after about 20 mins, with 5 Euro charge for room service. Cleaning staff vacuums outside your door at 8 AM.

Great hotel right at the airportPosted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: It was clean, modern, provided robes and slippers, had a good bathroom, and had very comfortable beds.
Cons: Better pillows...
Location: The hotel was right across the road from the airport, but very quiet nonetheless. It was incredibly convenient.
What a pleasant surprise it was to have such a nice hotel within walking distance of the Vienna Airport. My room was so nice, the bed was terrific, and the bathroom was also really nice...they actually had water pressure in the shower. The staff was friendly, and the air conditioning was such a welcome relief. I thought my room was a great value for the price. I was offered an upgrade for a reasonable price when I got to the hotel, so I took it...well worth it!

Huge hotel directly opposite Vienna airportPosted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: The staff are extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served from 5:30 am and there was also the option of an 'early-bird' breakfast.
Location: This is an airport hotel that is particularly conveniently situated.
This is a huge hotel with an impressive foyer and restaurant. We only had to cross a road to get to the airport The room was bland but of a reasonable size, very clean and had everything necessary for a short stay near an airport. There were no tea-making facilities but toiletries were provided in the en suite. Breakfast was included and we paid for a buffet meal in the evening. At both meals there was an amazing range of food provided.

Nice hotel,close to airportPosted Aug 4, 2015
Cons: room furniture and paint job
Location: fly out of the airport,it is at least 15 miles from downtown Vienna
The furniture was from the 1950's,the room was small and was in the old part of the hotel, not the greatest.

Perfect hotel for an early morning flightPosted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, quiet.
Cons: More double queen rooms. We had to get two rooms for our family of four... it was okay, but not ideal.
Location: Right across the street from the airport.
This was a very nice hotel across the street from the airport. It was wonderful not to have to take a shuttle for our early morning flight out of Vienna. We all slept great and the rooms were very quiet. We would stay here again.

Good airport hotel but don't plan on easy in/outPosted Jul 28, 2015
I stayed at this hotel twice last week (two lay overs in Vienna). It is ultra convenient, practically attached to the terminal and the room are clean and contemporary. My biggest issue was during both stays, the check-in took 20-45 minutes and check-out 10-15 due to long lines and not enough front desk staff.

Convenient to airportPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Staff was friendly and the physical appearance was ok, what you'd expect from a standard business hotel. It is a short walk to the airport terminal.
Cons: The food desperately needs improvement. Staff needs better training.
Location: Airport hotel. No reason to stay there unless you're catching an early morning flight.
Dining options were poor. There was a buffet - all prepared type dishes, with a poster detailing the natural and artificial additives in each dish. I guess that's helpful b/c you know what you might want to avoid, but I would hope the food would not be processed and so no list of additives would be needed. The bar menu was very limited and not prepared as ordered. We ordered rare burgers - they came well done. When we protested and said to take them back, we were met with an indifferent shrug and the nonsensical explanation that the meat had been frozen. We insisted and got rare burgers, but the quality was so-so anyway. We were told there was a free coffee service in the lobby for breakfast; there wasn't. The staff at the front desk were not knowledgeable. We reserved a non-smoking room, king bed and got twins in a smoking room. The room was changed per our request with the acknowledgement that the request was in the record and the explanation that the receptionist was new. The wake up call never came - though it too was noted in the record. We were initially misinformed about the correct terminal, though a second person corrected the misinformation.
