Wonderful 3 season hotel

Posted May 28, 2017
Pros: Location, large room, very clean, room safe, kettle and refrigerator in room.
Cons: The air conditioning did not work. It was unusually warm for May. Staff was not concerned. No fans. Great hotel when temperatures are moderate.
Location: Close to the Museum Quartier and the Rathaus. Shopping, bakery, grocery store, restaurants, bars all very close.
Stayed five nights in late May. Room was fine--very clean and well-furnished. Appreciated the kettle and refrigerator. Staff were hit or miss. Some were helpful and receptive; others were not. The AC did not work. Each staff member had a different reason why this was the case, but no one was concerned and it was not fixed for the duration of our stay. It was very warm. The windows in our room did not open more than 2 inches because of the drape rod. No fans were available. Other than the AC issue, our stay was great. I would think twice about booking the hotel for the summer--but any other time of year, I would return. My feeling is that either the AC does not really exist or that the temperature cannot be lowered beyond a certain point (like 75 F). A bakery is nearly adjacent as is a large department store. A Billa grocery store is across the street, Located on a pedestrian mall with shopping and restaurants. An U bahn station is also adjacent. Very convenient. Very quiet hotel.

Good location, extremely comfortable hotel

Posted May 27, 2017
Some confusion with rooms fixed by staff. Very spacious apartment and large room. Rooms had microwaves. Apartment had minimal plates and cutlery. Supermarkets near by and excellent bars and restaurants very close. Hotel worn but very comfortable. Have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last few years, because rooms spacious and comfortable and location so good.

Nice hotel, good value, nearby shopping and sights

Posted May 23, 2017
Pros: Proximity to sightseeing. Nice rooms.
Cons: Some minor TLC (paint touch-ups and possible replacement of outdated furniture). Reduce breakfast prices to something reasonable (< €15).
Location: Shopping, sightseeing, culture (museums, music).
Hotel is situated on a major pedestrian shopping street (Mariahilfer). Walking distances: 7 min to Museumsquarter, 10 to 15 min to the Hofburg Palace and Albertina museum. Reasonably close to most of the sites in the old town. Rooms were clean and modern, however could use a touch of paint (and possibly replacement of the pull-out couch). Bathrooms were functional and well lit. Our room was very quiet despite proximity to shopping street. Air conditioning made temperatures very comfortable. Staff helpful and pretty friendly. Breakfast was very expensive had we opted for it (€20 per meal per person!).

A bit out of the way

Posted May 8, 2017
Pros: Clean and friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Location was a bit out of the way.
Location: Not a lot of food options in the immediate area.
I prefer a more centralized location. While this hotel is in a good location, it could be more central. No restaurant nor bar facility. Otherwise excellent. Very clean and well staffed.

Very nice hotel

We consider ourself lucky because of booking this hotel. It was located in the best shopping street of Vienna and very closed to all most attractive places located on center of capital. If you have imagination of a large lobby full of light, is not this hotel, but if you image a comfortable family staying in a area this a lot wonderful people Austrians are don't hesitate to go there Drita & Fatmir

Hotel is close to the must-visit points such as Kunsthistoriches Museum, Hofburg and city center. Mariahilfer strasse is great for shopping and having coffee or eating as well. Hotel wifi did not work.
