Noisy at nightPosted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: Comfortable in the room
Cons: Same breakfast of the restaurant for three days
Location: From airport, it is perfectly fine. A little bid far from restaurants in the center on foot
I stayed for three nights. Every nights, it was very noisy because of outdoor live performance at next hotel of Mercure Vientiane. I was tired and sleepy because of jet lag, hence I went asleep. I also gave up thinking because here is Vientiane. Others are all fine to stay at the hotel.

Hotel needs a spruce up.Posted May 27, 2015
Poor experience. The staff do not speak much English and it was impossible to communicate. They had little knowledge of the area and surrounds and provided poor recommendations. I was sick with Lao belly and had to go to a Dr And cancelled my bus trip to vang vieng. The hotel insisted on seeing my medical report to avoid cancellation fees which was fine but chasing it down repeatedly whilst I was sick was not on. Furthermore they questioned me on why I needed so many toilet rolls when I was obviously sick and needed it!! Totally Bad. Also the lift was not working for 4 days and we had to walk 3 flights every day. Then there was a blackout in the middle of the night and we woke up sweating and suffocating. It took them hours to get it back. Meanwhile totally sleepless night for us..

Good price/service rationPosted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and service orientation of the staff
Cons: Renovate bathrooms (shower cabin instead of bathtub)
Location: The Mekong river is a 10 minutes walk away; the city centre is about 2,5 km away
The hotel is a 5 minute tuck-tuck ride from the city centre and is located at a main road just in between the airport and the city centre. The interior of the room was partly aged (especially bathroom and furniture) but clean and quiet.

Short stay onlyPosted Jan 20, 2015 on Hotels
Staff does not accommodate "Western" travelers very well. The noise from people in the hall way was worse than traffic in a busy city. Voices carry directly into your room and doors can be heard opening and closing like an alarm. This is an okay place to stay for just a short time...as right next door in the alley is a night club that punished us every night with the loud music. We wanted to sleep more but ended up more tired than when we got there.
