Steve was great. Great for the $$. Not a bad walk to St. George street. No rush for checking out in the morning and we we allowed to keep our vehicle parked there after check out. The only down part but luckily it was cool was the AC. It was in the back near the bathroom area and it not make it cool as it should have been. There was a partial wall I think that was its obstacle.

I would definitely stay here again. As other reviewers have mentioned, the furnishings are outdated, but the room was extremely clean. That is more important to me than new furniture. The beds were newer and very comfortable. I only wish we could have stayed longer. It is close to everything we needed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with suggestions for places to eat and directions.

Very positive the owner waited up for me and had the room at a perfect temperature when I arrived.
Clean room, very comfy and safe with proximity to all things St. Augustine.
Owner gave maps and advice on what to see and where to visit etc..
Really helpful and yes I would return.

We drove in to town and searched for a room for one night. Found the location to be perfect, close to everything, easily walkable. It was at first awkward to not find a "front desk" to check us in but found the information to call and easily get the key. There was no way to rate staff other than the parking attendant. He was very nice. The room was #1 and large, light-filled, and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was also large. The adjacent parking lot was so convenient. They also allowed us to stay parked the next day until we returned from lunch. If there was only one thing to comment that was "inconvenient", was there was no tea, creamer, or sugar available in the room, just coffee. We had to walk to find a place to accommodate us. Bring a mask to block out the street lights. The drapes are not blackout. Otherwise, we highly recommend the place.

The beach is a very easy walk across the street from the hotel. There are a few restaurants close enough to walk to. There is an ice cream store right across the street that was very good. Hotel was very nice, bed comfortable and AC cold. We ate breakfast at the cafe 75% of our stay. French toast and the egg white fritatta were very good. The historic part of town is an easy drive away.

Our room had a view of the water and the fort. It was located directly above the beautiful courtyard and had a wonderful balcony with rocking chairs. Very close to shopping and dinning. We will definitely be back.
