"This was a great location right by the train station and close to the ruins. The apartment was small, but comfortable. We appreciated the washing machine and we were able to do a quick load of laundry. We had to contact the property manager when we arrived, which we did not know ahead of time, however she responded quickly and was great! They held our luggage for us while we toured Pompei. Overall a nice place to stay."

"This is a budget hotel. The staff are very friendly. The property is located on a busy road by the highway and train tracks. The rooms are clean but noisy. Very close to the ruins so an easy 5 minute walk. Some decent dining close by but the sidewalks are unsafe. Not a clean area."

"A very friendly hotel, with staff who did everything they could to help us, despite the language barrier. It is comfortable, if old fashioned in decor, which we liked. We had expected to be able to get breakfast and a beer or a glass of wine at night, neither of which was available, though you can get non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks and snacks from vending machines in the foyer. The area is basically industrial but is convenient for the Pompeii ruins, which are just a 20 minute walk away."

"Check in was good but the room felt a little run down and the noise level was high. I know that rooms have thin walls but they had put me on the first floor next to the lobby. I heard everything including the reception phone. I had to ask for another blanket because the heat wasn’t turning on in my room. I finally got it to go but then my shower water was freezing the first night so I had to ask about that too. The best part of this hotel is the breakfast and the manager at breakfast. She was extremely kind and friendly. Food was good aswell."

"The room was in great condition, clean, overlooking the gulf and across from Mount Vesuvius. The bathtub was heavenly, staff was friendly and spoke English well enough for us to converse. We booked here for the views and the idea that we would easily be able to get to the train station in Castellammare di Stabia via the offered shuttle. Here are the cons. The listings indicate that there is a shuttle to the train station during scheduled times and at request but apparently that is closed during the offseason so we paid about $40/day for a taxi to take us 2 miles each way. The breakfast buffet with the same thing each day. Communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was difficult, emails going unanswered and then not including requested information. Booking through Expedia doesn't allow you to log in to the hotel booking directly to add anything on to your reservation and doing so separately didn't result in getting what was requested. We visited in February, knowing that it is the off season and some things would not be available to us, however, many things were not mentioned that would be closed during this time. The outdoor pool was closed, and that was well advertised, but you would think it would be covered or at least not green and slimy looking. The excursions they can assist with don't exist in winter either. With a nearly empty resort and many amenities unavailable at this time, you would think they would have upgraded our room or something."
