Great place to stay

Pros: Comfortable clean room. friendly staff, very helpful.
Location: Close to food, all types of shopping and attractions.
Stayed for business but visited restaurants and Cabelas. Close to everything. Breakfast served daily. It has a variety of choices and changes daily. If you're in a hurry it's quite sufficient.

Discouraged at First!

Pros: Very clean, very very hot water! Great location to the racetrack and legends shopping area.
Checked in with ease, but once we got to the room, I immediately returned to the front desk. I reserved and paid for a single king size bed room, but was given a room with 2 queen beds. The front desk said that I had been moved to a double queen room, but it was "ok" since the price is the same. I stated that it was "not ok", and they did this without notifying me and without my authorization and I have a reservation for a king size room. The front desk proceeded to tell me they do not have any more king size rooms available. But after some persistence and questioning how can they just change my reservation without any notification after I had already paid in advance, they miraculously had a king size room that I could have, without any additional charges.

We are happy that you stayed with us while in the Kansas City area. We do apologize that there were no King type rooms available. Even though room "types" are not guaranteed, we do our VERY best to meet all guest requests. We do not have as many King rooms as we do the rooms with 2 queen beds, the King rooms going quickly! We love taking care of our guest and we would love to have you back!
