Very attentive staff. Great bar with very good barmen. Rooms a little dated but well looked after. Luxurious overall.

Nice hotel close to old city center

Hotel location was the draw, right off old city center, yet access by car was pretty easy. Was placed in a room in the executive section of the hotel that was very nice. Overall hotel appearance was nice. Only area I would rate down was the spa area as the locker rooms, sauna, steam bath, and showers were dated and crammed into a small space. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Overall had as good stay.

Perfectly placed

Pros: Lovely facilities, great location, wonderful staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Cross the main road and you are in the centre. You can walk to shops, galleries and historical sites.
From this hotel, we were able to explore Luxembourg easily on foot. The hotel had everything you would expect for a 5 star hotel, but for us, what set it apart was the staff. They were professional but friendly, and helpful without being obsequious. Truly excellent. We would love to stay there again sometime.

Bad experience!

Cons: training the personnel!
As a businessman, I travel a lot and I usually stay at top-class hotels, but THIS never happened to me before. When checking out, the young lady at the reception asked me to wait until the maid checked if I REALLY didn't take anything out of the mini-bar or the room. So I had to wait there for 10 min until the maid confirmed that I didn't steel anything. It was also the first time that I was asked to specify my PLACE of birth at check-in. That's not the 5-star standard I'm used to!

I am sorry that you felt we did not trust you and this is really not our point. However, for accounting reason when we don’t have a credit card in guarantee, we find this process so far. We should think now about an easier and quicker way. As far as your personal data is concerned, the Luxemburgish law requires us to send every detailed guest information to the Police every day. So, unfortunately, we have to ask complete information to our guests such as the city of birth. We appreciate the time you took to share your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
