We arrived very late and the receptionist was lovely. They were all very helpful during our stay even carrying bags to our cab for us.

Hotel Grata

Posted Sep 15, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness and wonderful breakfast buffet.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Good location just outside the old city of Vilnius. Everything was withing walking distance.
The Hotel Grata was wonderful. Great breakfast buffet, extremely clean and orderly, quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice Hotel with excellent breakfasts

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: The breakfasts were excellent, plenty of variety and you could eat outside the restaurant but still enclosed so protected from the weather.
Cons: The hotel could change the taxi company they use as 3 taxis did not show up that we had booked, out of 4!
Location: There are two big supermarkets open long hours within 10 mins walk, but not a lot else nearby.
A good hotel, with excellent breakfasts and staff although a little out of the way. This would not be an issue if the Vilnius taxi drivers were more reliable. The staff especially Egle were very helpful.

Not too far from the bustling town - about 15 mins walk.

Location: Leave your car to this cheap parking lot (54.687789, 25.293998) and you can visit Gediminas Castle and old town by walk the whole day.
Overall all good, but finding the right garage door and garage door opening can be solved better and faster. Once all was clear then everything was smooth.

Well appointed hotel. Excellent breakfast & staff

Posted Jun 12, 2016
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, with hot and cold options, salads, cereals, drinks & pastries. The plates & cups are also nice and big. Very clean room.
Cons: The bar fridge in the room was too noisy. Turn it off if you're not using it.
Location: Quiet residential area (Belarus and Romanian embassies in the block). Not many restaurants or shops.
A warning. The train from the airport stops running at 930pm and the buses stop at 11pm. A taxi from the airport to the hotel (at 1130pm) cost me EUR12. The buses which run from the airport to one block from the hotel are the 3G and the 88. The hotel itself is in a quiet street, but only a block from the bus stops into the centre of town (walking into the old town takes about 20 minutes and is almost all downhill). There is a restaurant (also where the breakfast is served), bar and spa. The staff were friendly and helpful, there are a number of alcoves with seating for socialising, the hotel is in two main parts so be sure you are heading to the right section for your room. The room itself is large and well appointed. There is a TV, bar fridge, kettle, coffee (pre-mixed sachets), tea (including fruit) and a large bathroom with a good sized bath. The double bed is two singles together. There is only one bedside table/lamp.

Good hotel that acts as a base to explore Vilnius

Posted Oct 23, 2015
Nice hotel, attentive staff, clean rooms (if a little warm for October) and very generous breakfast. Used as a base to explore Vilnius for 4 days. About a 15 minute walk to the outskirts of the old town, but in a nice enough area. No problems, would recommend
