Staff was very nice but the rooms need to be updated. I had a lot of problems getting my door to open every single time I left and reentered. The property was fairly clean but still appeared to be old. Nice for one night but I probably won’t stay again.

The room smelled like smoke and they tried to keep my deposit and accuse me of smoking I’ve stayed there seven times in the past two months bathrooms have stains and sheets smell like mildew toilets reap urine and management is very unprofessional

There was no hot water for the first 18 hours of our 2 night stay, they moved us into another room by 3:30 the 2nd day but offered no refund full or partial. My partner spoke to the maintenance person that was working on the hot water and he flat out said "This hotel cannot currently handle supplying hot water to all guests when fully booked." So we wont be choosing Wingate for our stay again.

The have dove products in the bathroom I was surprised by that and the room was very clean and comfy housekeeping was in there early making a lot of noise but hey they have to work so it’s ok
