The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating for my poor French. He gave lots of advice as to where to visit. He is an asset to the hotel and deserves promotion

Going Downhill
Hotel seems to have gone downhill since we last stayed there. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer. The gardens look like no one has tended to them for years so what used to be a nice seating area is now a wasteland. Bar was not well stocked and sometimes had to wait to find someone to serve.

A room without a/c when outside is 37 Celsius and inside over 40 Celsius is terrible. This hotel has absolutely no respect for the customers. You can die in these conditions. They should provide fans, ice, cold water, cooling areas. The room is full of bugs, spiders, mosquitoes, flies, worse than in the cheapest Carribean hotel. A disgrace, avoid it!

Staff Polite but rooms disappointing
Was disappointed with the hotel, I have used the Campanile in the UK and thought the standard would be the same across to France and was bitterly disappointed. There was no ventilation in our room as we couldn't open the door to the rear of the property as there was a desk in front of it. My children had an adjoining room, which was slightly better but the mirror had obviously been taken down and screws were sticking out of the wall and there was grey tape keeping the bath in 1 piece. Won't be staying there again on our travels. Bedding was clean though and the hotel staff was helpful, just not the standard I expected.

Great to stop over. Restaurant very good. Rooms and corridors need a make over as they are tired. During the summer deffo need air con in the rooms or at least a fan.

Economic and good stop over for travelling.
Upstairs room was a bit dated and the corridor lighting was poor. Staff were helpful and cheerful.

Very basic nights rest
An easy top off of the autoroute. The room was spartan, but enough for a rest. The only issue was the strange odor in the hallway, it was a musty, smoky, burnt smell.

Stayed for one night on our way home. The room was fine, but very hot. This is our second stay here. On our first visit we were in one of the refurbished rooms - much nicer! Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

Well located for the purpose of our trip
The hotel is rather shabby and needs a refurb. Black mould in the bathroom us unacceptable. But on a positive note, the bed linen was clean and tidy.

Disappointing Local Chain
It was fine - room was functional enough, closely located to the city, breakfast was good. But their wi-fi service was not available to us on our last morning there, which was very inconvenient. And the staff did not do much to help us.

We stayed 2 nights. I was really impressed the first night. But the staff in the restaurant the second night were far from what you expect. They even ran out of bread for breakfast 45 min before the end of the buffet. No excuse, not even offering to use the bread from lunch which she told her colleague in front of us she already put in the oven. Neither less to say that a French breakfast without baguette is not really a breakfast! The room is nice but a bit small and a very small double. But it is clean. My advice is to book a twin room and to go early for breakfast.

Stopped for 1 night on the way through France, receptionists were very friendly, helped out when we had a problem logging on to the wifi, room was small (expected for the price) but clean and comfy. Handy location if you want to see the château which sadly we didn't have time for.

The room was very basic with no fridge, cupboard or microwave, etc..however, it was clean. The restaurant had a good menu and the dessert buffet was great! The restaurant staff do not understand English that well, so a bit of a struggle there trying to communicate. Would recommend the hotel for a short stay only.

Conveniently located for visit to the Chateau de Chambord, this hotel clearly shows signs of aging. However our stay was very pleasant, room was clean and staff was friendly.

At the time of my visit the room I had was the old style/type - not the new slightly garish green. There was a small chip in the enamel of the bath, the room could also do with updating very soon at it was certainly showing its age, other than it was comfortable enough. Very good staff, particularly reception who could not have been more helpful. Buffet breakfast was very good, regularly topped up when needed.

Overnight stop before commencing journey to UK.
Repeated sleep interruption caused by late arrivals in access corridor to the rooms. Wafer thin partition between corridor and rooms being the cause. Will certainly not return to this Campanile site.

This hotel like all the other Campanile hotels was convenientt and very suited to our purpose. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. The room was adequate, clean and well appointed. The tea/coffee making equipment was particularly welcome after a 300+ mile journey. In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent with plenty of choice and reasonably priced. We also had breakfast, which was equally good.

Hotel/restaurant tres bon rapport qualite/prix. Emplacement ideal pour la visite des chateaux, a 15 min de Chambord. Personnel tres accueillant, chambre tres propre et confortable. Petit dejeuner excellent, beaucoup de choix au buffet. Very good Hotel and restaurant for your money! Well located to visit one of the most impressive "chateau": Chambord (15 min drive). People at the front desk very nice, room (little compared to the US) very clean. Big breakfast (buffet) with a lot of choice (sweet and salty)

We had stayed at another Campanile hotel and were very satisfied with it. So we were hoping that this one would be very similar. It was ok, but the room was very dark and pretty small. The walls/doors were paper thin, so we heard everything that was going on in the hallway. Furthermore, the room is set up so that the bed is right next to the door, while the bathroom is by the window. That makes the room dark and noisy.

Convenient for overnight stop. Small room without a window. Glass panelled door opening on to rear lawn area. Possible security risk if left open for ventillation at night. No other ventillation in room.

Un froid pas possible dans la chambre, une fois le radiateur allumé il chauffait a peine, le lit vraiment petit pour 2 personnes, le matelas mon dieu impossible de passer une nuit complète dessus, nous avons pris la décision de quitter l’hotel a 21h soit 2h après notre arrivée hélas, salle de bain lumière qui ne fonctionne pas aussi… bravo a vous, hotel a fuir ne reservé surtout pas la bas
