Breakfast in America!

Posted Jan 19, 2017
Pros: They have a little make-shift bar next to the check in!
Location: Bottle shop next door with great burgers and chicken wings.
Possibly the best breakfast buffet I've had yet tooling around these fly-over cities. . .

Nice stay

Posted Dec 9, 2016
Very clean hotel. Clean and spacious rooms however sleeping is difficult due to close proximity of trains but ear plugs are provided. Pool is clean but the area is very hard to breath in due high chemicals. Close to shopping and eats. Staff is very friendly and Curteous. Would stay again.

Nice hotel with great staff and added amenities!

Posted Dec 5, 2016
We were there as a hockey team and enjoyed the pool, conference room for pizza, and breakfast area for games and a pot luck. We interacted with great staff and appreciated their hospitality. This was a perfect space for our team during a busy weekend with plenty of fun and relaxation in between games.

Nice clean place, loved the Biscuits & Gravy for breakfast plus the 24/7 coffee in the lobby. Railroad tracks are across the road though. Only woken up once by a train. Light sleepers might want to request a room on the front side of the building.

Train noise

Posted Oct 25, 2016
The hotel does say up front that train noise may be a factor. We didn't expect the trains to be going by every couple of hours right outside the window. Just know going in that it is going to be loud. Good breakfast.

Pros: The front desk staff...the pool...the room...easy walking distance to the bars & restaurants...
Cons: The in-house bar needs more than one tap...
Location: It's easily accessible from the road, and has two restaurant/bars next door, with a Super One grocer withing 5 minutes drive...
I came to this AmericInn due to the fact that Duluth was booked.
