“My husband and I stayed here over Thanksgiving for 3 nights and it was an excellent experience. Newly remodeled room and bathroom were both well appointed and lovely. Very clean and bed was extremely comfortable! Quality bed linens and bath towels. Fridge with freezer (nice size, larger than just a small mini fridge) microwave and coffee maker all were great to have in-room. Sitting chair and also chair with a desk. Ironing board and iron in room in case you're there for an event. Continental……

“Loved Motel Ely! Super friendly/helpful proprietor offered plenty of recommendations for restaurants. Rooms are not standard modern soulless fare. Mismatched furnishings, midcentury-style mini fridges, unusual bathroom sink/toilets... but everything is spotless and functional. One of our 2 rooms had a great mural, both featured shiplap wood walls. Affordable and cozy. Also right on Sheridan St in Ely, making it easy to explore town on foot. Highly recommend.”

“Manager was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. Even though the room was very small and very close to other rooms, there was no real noise. They were sold out, so all of the rooms were full, but I was not bothered by other guests. I enjoyed my stay!”
