Nice hotel - room comfort not good

Our AC in the room was not working properly. VERY uncomfortable night's rest as the room was warm. AND the phone did not work - so we could not call anyone as the night progressed. We let the front desk know the next day and they did fix the phone and said they adjusted room temp. Alittle better the next night -- but it was not what it should have been. HOWEVER - breakfast chef was amazing. GREAT buffet and he prepared the EGGS EXACTLY as we requested. He and his staff were great!

Location: Nice hotel and situated very close to all amendments and get around to all main tourist attractions.
Enjoyed my 1-week stay at The Four Points Sheraton Hotel, staff were amazing and very helpful. There took great care of my dad too, will definitely stay there again when I am back to Vizag. Will recommend this hotel to all my clients & friends.

Good hotel if you find the right pricing

I had a 5 day stay, staff is great ! Som, Ramesh and Robin took good care of me in bar/food area. The rooms need to be upgraded though they seem to have old hardware . Some people in front desk are great, some are just ok. Buffet breakfast is great! Always include that in your package. More beer selections are needed in the bar area. Who wanted Corona in India flying from US. Include more Indian beers. Overall my experience was great and I would definitely recommend people.

Disappointed

Very disappointed in the overall condition of the hotel and rooms. Unusual odor in the room. Surrounded by other buildings so it did not have a view. Meals were bl as nd and choices were limited.

A good stay.

Mr Taufik at reception was polite and helpful. So were his female colleagues. Restaurant staff was courteous and welcoming. Security staff was helpful and courteous. Buffet was good. Room service menu was a bit expensive. Bar had limited choices and was not busy. Thanks to the staff for allowing late check out.

Excellent hotel, must stay. Only thing to improve buffet breakfast taste. But apart from that from this is a class hotel.

Over-Eager Staff

The hotel itself is OK, but, the staff's over-friendliness is a bit annoying. They call you every evening on the phone, to ask "how is your stay?" or "this is so-and-so from IT Department. How is your wifi working?". If you want to know how Wifi is working, go test it. Don't bother me. I'm in my room with the Do Not Disturb light on, so that I'll be left alone. I don't want to be awoken or disturbed to ask how I'm doing. The staff up front also try to make small talk every time you pass through the lobby. They're trying to be polite, but it's unnecessary and annoying. They're not bartenders at a bar, where it's appropriate to chat with the clients. I don't want to make small talk with hotel staff in the lobby, I just want to go to my room.
