Self care and Star Wars

Pros: Close and friendly
Cons: More Coffee in the rooms.
Location: Close to shopping and Oceanside Beach, yet far enough out to be reasonably priced.
Spent an enjoyable weekend just relaxing. No troubles, no phone, no worries. Binge watched Star Wars via my laptop and the room TV. Way Cool!

Kind of small

Next to busy freeway

Very old building. Feels like Motel 6. Breakfast okay. Bed very good.

Pros: Close to the wedding we were attending.
Cons: Get roll-away beds. Get new mattresses. Get qualified maintenance plumbing and hardware staff..
A couple of days prior to check-in, I called the front desk three times to reserve a roll-away bed, phone call was rerouted to headquarters who said I could get a bed for an additional charge of $25.00. However upon arrival, the front desk said they have no roll-away beds. Beds are too small, and mattresses were worn out, lumpy, uncomfortable. Bathroom door hardware was installed backwards. Bathtub hot water valve installed backwards.

I'm sorry that you weren't satisfied with your stay. It's true we don't have roll-away beds, but our central reservations center should know this. Perhaps you called the wrong number? Our full and king size mattresses are relatively new. I hope you brought your concerns to the guest service staff so that we could make this better for you during your stay. If we do have any substandard mattresses we certainly want to replace them. Thanks for your feedback, we hope to see you again.

Quality is Comparable to Price

Pros: The amenities and location of the facility
Cons: Moldy smell of room - could be because room was next to the swimming pool

Cons: My room was behind a stairway, adjacent to a trash receptacle and I had no view of the street, slightly moldy smell which became unbearable when the cooling system fan was turned off, limited TV channel selection Pros: Easy check in (reservation was booked through 3rd party); convenient location (about 2/3 mile of shopping center; IHOP restaurant a few feet away; convenience stores a few feet away; within walking distance of California 78; complimentary breakfast; good ice machine; great cooling system, free, very good WiFi; computer and printer for guest use in the lobby).

Easy access to freeway

Pros: Grounds were very clean and looked safe at night, considering its adjacent to the freeway.
Cons: Update/remodel the rooms.
This hotel had the perfect location for our need. The room was clean and comfortable, although a bit outdated. The personnel were pleasant and the breakfast was varied.

Quiet out of the way place.

Pros: Location, Location, Location
Location: I spend my time relaxing by the pool or catching some Zzzz's in my room. So I am not real familiar with the attractions.
Close to shopping and attractions. No room service but I-Hop is right next door. Waffles for breakfast, made to order. Bottomless coffee. Pool, nice place to bring the kids after Lego Land.
