Bad luck or routine?

For a three star, I expected a little better. The furniture, pillows and beds are great. The carpet was wet from what appeared to smell like carpet cleaning after someone smoked in the room. The room was a little musty because of this and we had damp feet walking around. The window blind stuck on the wall when lowering and was very difficult to get it down. The TV was pixelated on all channels and not understandable so we couldn't watch tv. We arrived late and were too tired to bother switching rooms. The exterior door on the building was unlocked all night maybe due to roof work being done...not very safe. In the morning, the food service professional was barely audible after asking her a question and she cleared all the food before the 9am breakfast end time.

Pros: convenient
Cons: Room upgrades over next few years
Location: Echelon dying but plenty of restaurants and businesses
Great front desk personnel and quick early check in

Nice and accomodating

Pros: Area, and cleanliness
Cons: Hire more Victorias and everything would be outstanding
Location: there nothing there but the city seems bndfd new.
Victoria at the front desk was the reason my stay was so enjoyable. she ensured I had my rooms ready, I had keys, told me about the restaurants in the area, and was very helpful given my situation. I would stay there again because of her.

Decent Hotel for Clementon Water Park

Pros: Location, staff and friendliness.
Cons: Maintenance and breakfast. This is a former Hampton Inn, currently independent. The breakfast is much below Hampton quality.
Location: Near our grandchildren, which is our main reason for staying there regularly. A lot of the weekend summer traffic is people going to the Clementon Wat
Good hotel with personable and helpful staff and reasonable rates. For best prices, you need to book through a discount site like Expedia, but their computer interface with Expedia is terrible and prone to mistakes. On six rooms booked over a period of time, I encountered one lost booking, one category downgrade, one duplicate reservation and two times when I had to make the reservation with Expedia by phone when the app couldn't do it. I spent over two hours on the phone with Expedia in those six boookings. Some maintenance was poor. We were assigned a room where the curtain rod had fallen off the window, and had to be moved to another room. This past weekend, someone spilled soda in the elevator on Friday night. We reported it that night and the elevator floor was still sticky on Monday morning.

Our room key wouldn't open any outside doors, this ment we had to walk all the way to our room witch was next to the last room on the floor. The staff didn't know how to key our room key to open the outside doors. The room was a bit out dated . The curtains were sad . The breakfast was nothing to speak of ( no meat ) . The waffles were taught and chewy.

Nice hotel with nice staff.

Clean room. Nice staff. We were late for breakfast but the nice lady working allowed us to grab some food. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient, budget hotel

Pros: convenient location
Cons: update furniture and towels
Location: Passtorellis and Olive Garden nearby
Hotel is convenient if you need to be in South Jersey area. It is an older hotel and some of the furniture is a dated and some of it is stained. The towels could be replaced but they are clean. It is near restaurants and has a pool and workout facility that is nice.
