Overall the hotel was great apart from our restaurant experience. We went to the restaurant at 21.10 (closes 22.00) and were greeted by the manager who instructed one of the waiters to prepare our table.
The same waiter came to take our order but did so by leaning over the table in the next row with his arm on the back of the chair. As we ordered, he interrupted us to have a look at his phone and then inform us that we could only have a main course as it is 21.30. I took out my phone and it was 21.20 so I informed him that is was not 21.30 to which he then agreed that we could have our starters (bare in mind that there was on 2 other tables in the restaurant and they appeared to be finished and 4/5 members of staff on the floor). He then asked that we repeat the order as he didn't remember it (starters).
We quickly received our starter followed by our main course (steak AMAZING, pasta dish very bland). Having finished our main we were not offered dessert, tea/coffee and the manager pulled a curtain (divides bar/restaurant) half way which indicated we should leave. I requested the bill which was missing the bottle of wine but we highlighted this as the wine was very good and worth the 40 euro.
Overall, I would stay here again as the pros definitely outweighed the cons. The room was great, amazing bed.
The only additional recommendations I would give is that the Gym, pool, spa close too early on a weekend 20.00 and provide ceramic cups in the room for tea/coffee.
