Very good village location

Pros: Its position right alongside the fields of grape vines and views of the local chateau .
Cons: No restaurant is a problem.
Location: a good central location to visit the vineyards
a stop over to visit the vineyards in the local area, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

In the heart of the vineyards
Posted Aug 1, 2017On the Rue des Grands Vins, it is great to sit sipping wine overlooking the vines of Le Chateau Vougeot. You may not be able to afford that wine, but your host produces a good local pinot noir at a much more acceptable price point.

Tons of charm + location
Posted Jun 23, 2017 on HotelsSuperb hotel, very charming. Staff top notch - very professional yet friendly. Room very nice. Comfortable bed, nice shower, has tons old world charm. Location is great if you want to be out in the countryside/ vineyards yet have a great bakery down the street. Only caution is steep set of steps getting luggage up to our room - I managed fine but could see some having trouble with that.

We could not have asked for a better experience or better lodging. We loved the historic, comfortable hotel and the community. Also we were in easy driving distance to both Dijon and Beaune which are outstanding to visit. Alain is a terrific host and helped put us onto rides in the area that were fun and beautiful.

Lovely hotel in the vineyards
Posted Dec 10, 2015 on HotelsWe arrived early--around 2 p.m. and there was no one there. I called the number given and spoke to the proprietor who said he would come, although check-in was normally not until 3 o'clock. He did say that our room was ready and the key was inside, but the hotel was locked and we couldn't access it (until later when we found out it was in another building which was unlocked!) Once he arrived he was very pleasant, the room lovely with a view of the vineyards and breakfast quite good and reasonable. Parking (enclosed) can fill up late at night. There is no elevator and we were on the second (American 3rd) floor. We would return if in the area.
