Beautiful boutique hotel

Posted Mar 30, 2017
Pros: Beautiful, unique & comfortable. Liked having Keurig coffee maker in room.
Cons: There are trains that sound at night but still felt rested in the morning but some people might need to pack earplugs.
Location: There is a cheese & wine shop. An old time candy & ice cream shop. Great coffee shop next door, Modoc's. Other shops yet to explore.
We stayed here do to bereavement. Very comfortable well maintained hotel.. Great restaurant attached to hotel which is priced moderate but worth every penny. We definitely plan to return on better circumstances & check out the downtown shops. Staff was very pleasant & helpful.

A touch of history and class.

Posted Mar 4, 2017
Pros: Historical but updated.
Cons: Restaurant called Twenty onsite is seriously lacking. Slow service, not very good food for the price. Hard to believe so many good reviews about it.
Location: Great antiques/coin store right down the block.
Very cool old hotel, clean, pleasant and welcoming. Tons of character and not your run of the mill type chain hotel.

Gem of a hotel

Posted Dec 18, 2016
Pros: The hotel has lovely décor, wonderful rooms, excellent service and a wonderful restaurant.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: The hotel is located in downtown Wabash amidst nicely renovated historic buildings. It is within walking distance of the Honeywell Center theatre.
We were treated like royalty from the moment we checked in to this beautiful and impeccably maintained hotel. The décor is lovely and dignified. Our large room elegant furnishings with a huge bathroom felt like a suite. Why stay at a boring chain hotel when Charley Creek Inn is available? We also enjoyed an elegant dinner in their top-notch restaurant at a price that rivals ordinary chain restaurants.

Location, comfort and hospitality was FANTASTIC!

The stay was wonderful! We were early for check-in so they said they would call when our room was ready. Perfect time to shop! Everyone was very kind and the room was beautiful. The beds were exceptionally comfortable (which was appreciated after a long day of shopping and dinner with the co-workers across the street). Thank you for making it a fantastic stay...we will be back!

A lovely hotel in a small Indiana town

Posted Oct 4, 2016
Location: Wabash's downtown offers a few stores, including a bookstore and some antique stores. The countryside is not far away.
It can sometimes be hard to find reasonable lodging in smaller midwestern towns, but Wabash is different. The Charley Creek Inn is a nicely refurbished, early 20th century hotel right downtown. The renovation retained much of the original decorative flair but added updated rooms and bathrooms, themselves decorated in ways that fit nicely with the building. Prices are reasonable and parking is free. The hotel's restaurant is not gourmet but offers good food and service.

Awesome stay in Wabash at Charley Creek Inn!

Don't miss the opportunity to have breakfast at the in house restaurant before a walk over to the Charley Creek Gardens. Peaceful and relaxing, along with well kept sidewalks, a quaint downtown area with lots of historic details.

This was a great old hotel. I would recommend it for a weekend getaway. Great coffee shop across the street.
