Nice but dusty

Pretty clean but there was an unknown reddish orange stain on the thermostat and the remote control and lamps were dusty.

The hotel is very nice and across from a park.

Pros: It is peaceful, across from a beautiful park, clean the shower was great.
Cons: I love that parking is free, but a little tight when trying to maneuver around the parking lot.
Location: It is also across from restaurants, like Ninfa's, a very posh steak place and others.
The staff was professional, from the desk folks to the folks working in the restaurant.

BEST I EVER HAD

Pros: The screaming kid next door.
Location: Everything is within a walking distance, ex. Silo District, Dr. Pepper museum, etc.
Great experience, lovely staff, nice and clean facilities and super comfy beds!

Quick Visit

The rooms were a little dated, but the service was great! We were greeted by friendly staff who were excited to have us. The location of this hotel is ideal as it's right across the street from the Riverwalk and walking distance to many restaurants & bars. There is ample free parking available too. I went exclusively to visit the Magnolia Market, so having their Downtown Trolley stop right across the street was a huge plus. Overall a great hotel that I would stay at again.

Silent...the gentleman shining no shoes took time to show my kids his craft and they loved him. The pool and outside area was amazing. The manager in the kitchen did an amazing job.

Unhappy

Check in time was 3:00 pm, however when I arrived at 3:30 I was told the room was not ready and that it would be about 20 minutes. We waited in the lobby and inquired again at 4:15. Still not ready. It was only after complaining that they final did give us a room. Also while we were out for the evening maintenance came to repair the ironing board, however we never requested the repair. I do not appreciate someone coming in my room while I am away, especially when I never made a request for maintenance in the first place. I expected better service at Hilton.

Easy access of road, pleasant staff, great food!

Pros: The room service staff.
Cons: Valet parking and items available in sundries shop.
Location: Close to court house.
I stayed at the Hilton on business. It was easy to get to. My room was perfect for a business trip. The lobby was big where my client and I could visit without others being too close to us. I ordered room service for dinner and breakfast and it was timely, warm and the staff were great!
