“Beautiful views, very clean and very good communication! The place had all basic necessities that you need, and it was pretty quiet even throughout the construction happening. Quite expensive but a nice place for your stay for sure! ”

“The view of the ocean was the only positive for this condo. The A/C consists of portable indoor units which are very noisy. The mattress on the bed was very thin and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. There is a lot of construction on site for building maintenance and so the parking lot is a mess. We had to park a quarter of a mile down the street. Walking to and from the car was dangerous and inconvenient, as the road is busy. The lock boxes are in a very poorly lit hallway. “There was major construction going on, we didn’t have water all day one day and scattered times through out the other days, roaches everywhere, and parking was a pain!! We were not told anything about construction until we showed up and saw it and the day we arrived I started getting emails on all other stuff!”

“Overall the stay was good. The location was perfect. The unit is a bit smaller than depicted in the photograph. We enjoyed the small balcony looking out on Ft Derussy having a coffee in the early mornings. We had a nice view of Diamond head and beach. It was reasonable walking distance to Waikiki beach, the Hale Koa and Hilton Hawiian Village. Nice little shop on ground floor with good quality Hawiian clothing. “Good location. The lobby and first floor of the Ilikai are nice spaces. My only complaint is that the small mini-split AC unit is underpowered for this room. We were never able to get the room cool enough. We kept the shades closed but the heat from the windows overpowers this small AC unit. A fan in the room would have been helpful. (I even cleaned out the filters on the AC unit, they were very dirty, this helped, but we still felt warm all night). Also, we got unlucky in that a family was……
