It was a great stay however the cleanliness was alright the bed had a board to support the middle and luckily we stayed one night was afraid the bed would break. Carpet seemed dirty and it was kind of wet so we paid for the cleaning fee but it wasn't worth it you know. Overall just being honest about the hotel but I would recommend it.

Set up like a condo rental.

Posted Jul 13, 2017
It was like renting a mini condo. A small room with a living room a bed a mini kitchen and bathroom. For the week we stayed we self cleaned the room and just changed the wet towels. We were close to Waikiki beach and had a great time.

Unexpected cleaning fee. Room service every 4 days

Posted Jun 26, 2017
Pros: It's right off the coast, only a few steps away from Waikiki beach. I had a microwave, a fridge, and a TV.
Cons: The cleaning should happen every day.
Location: In Waikiki, no need to rent a car because everything is so close, unless you want to visit the north side of the island, then rent a car for a day.
I booked a package through Expedia including flight, hotel, and car. Later i found out i would spend more on parking the day i arrived at the hotel. Parking is 18$ per day, though that was not a surprise because many hotels do the same. It seems that many people use the Honolulu parking overnight. Moreover, upon checking in they charged 100$ for cleaning services which only happens every 4 days. Yes. You would guess they are charging because you bring a lot of sand into the room and the cleaning gets tough, but no. I was there from Monday till Sunday, and they only cleaned on Friday. You can request towels and soap at no charge at the front desk, though i still think this should be done by them. I had to buy my own shampoo as well because they had none at the front desk.

Nice Surprise Close to the Beach

Posted Jun 20, 2017
Pros: The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Even with so much going on around the hotel, our room was very peaceful.
Cons: There's no parking at the hotel itself. The public lot across at the zoo is very pricey, but we got free curbside parking around the zoo perimeter.
Location: Just steps to the beach and zoo. Family friendly. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance.
I don't even know where to start! I just picked this hotel because it was close to the beach and was very reasonably priced, but I didn't know anything else. Oh my gosh! We had a blast! The views from the 10th floor terrace are breathtaking--one large expanse looking from Diamond Head to the left to Waikiki Beach on the right, with the Honolulu Zoo in between just across the street! We could take a bottle of wine up and just enjoy the evenings. This part of Honolulu is wonderful! We were only there from Thursday afternoon until Saturday afternoon, but we experienced a lifetime of memories! The first afternoon, we hiked up Diamond Head which is quite an uphill hike, but the view from the summit was worth every step! We then went to the beach which is literally steps away from the hotel, and walked along the pier. We then went back to the hotel to get a drink at the 2nd floor bar. On the second day, we went to downtown Honolulu to see the Iolani Palace and Pearl Harbor, which was about a 25 minute drive, and then back to the beach for late afternoon and evening. We walked along the beach for several blocks trying to choose from the many restaurants in the area, and bought souvenirs. Our last morning was spent at the Honolulu Zoo, which was very nice and beautiful, lots of birds along with the other animals. There is a real effort to make the elephant, zebras, giraffes, and big cats' habitats appear natural. You can walk through the roots of the banyan trees!

Nice hotel right next to Waikiki Beach

Posted Jun 7, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Parking and daily clean.
Location: Waikiki Beach, Honolulu Zoo, Shopping
The location of the hotel cannot be any better if you're looking for an affordable hotel close to the shopping area and Waikiki Beach. My only complaint was that there was no parking designated for the stay and you have to constantly check in for a parking.

Comfortable and convenient stay

Posted May 24, 2017
This was a great fit for our 3 day stay in Honolulu. The hotel is extremely convenient to the beach, shopping, zoo, Diamond Head, and bus stops. The view and outdoor seating on the 10th floor are spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay. The decor is dated and could use a facelift but that didn't bother us. Check-in and check-out were equally seamless. Nightly piano music in the open lobby.

Not worth the pay

Posted May 18, 2017
when booked I asked for a few request and none of it was done. I did have a car and paid for parking but I only had it for 4 days but they charged me for a week for it. Told them about it and they said they can't prove it and still charged me anyways. I got charged for housekeeping but not once did they come up and clean the room. Thy even told me at check on they don't clean up the rooms everyday which I understand but for the week I was there., They never once touched my room. Overall it was a bad experience and I've been to plenty of hotels. If it wasn't close to the beach, I would never ever book this place again
