Bed bugs Rm 603!

Cons: Get rid of bed bugs!
Acquired 25-30 bed bug bites on right side of my body (sleep on my right) during 2 night stay. Would not have stayed 2nd night if I had any idea what was happening (never experienced bed bugs before). The bites started to itch during my second night (no sleep!) and by 3rd day of our 7 day vacation, my bites were so red and swollen/itchy that I was unable to enjoy myself. Very frustrating and dissapointing as we've looked forward to this trip for months.

Hotel is decent for the price and location

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Lights hard to switch on and off. Bedroom doors hard to open and close.
Location: Short walk to Waikiki main shopping area. Short walk to beaches.
The location of the hotel is great, walkable distance to the main street and Waikiki beach. The price is reasonable for a 2-bedroom suite considering other hotels charges double the price. Some people on Tripadvisor complained about cockroaches in the hotel, but our room was clean. Room can be a bit noisy, we could hear people talking from next door or upstairs. There were construction noises on a Sunday morning as well. The lights in the hotel is the old oil lamp style, quite hard to switch on and off, and one of the room light wasn't working. Doors of the bedrooms were hard to open and close. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Nice hotel, convenient location.

Parking limited, had to park some where else and walk to the hotel. Resort and parking fee should be an option.

Less than the basics

Pros: Hotel staff was friendly, rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker
Cons: Cleanliness and noise levels
I decided to stay in this hotel, because I just wanted a hotel with the basics: a bathroom, a bed, and a TV. It was nice that this hotel had a microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. I definitely made use of everything, and I was okay with the plainness and no frills (no pool, no gym, etc). Two big problems with this hotel: the cleanliness for one. When I arrived in my room, there was someone else's hair still on the bathroom floor. My shoe picked up something sticky and brought more hair from the room into the bathroom, so apparently the rest of the room wasn't actually clean either. There were several spots where food had been dropped on the floor and it was never properly cleaned up. The second big problem was noise: I had been upgraded to a room with a balcony, and my room might as well have only had three walls. It was so loud outside at night, I hardly slept at night. The staff was lovely and friendly enough, but the quality of even this basic hotel was unfortunately low.

OVERCHARGED

They charged me a fortune for an extra day. Not fair. The hotel was not a nice enough hotel to charge that much for an extra night,

Amazing location, in the middle of everything.

Comfortable room but no kitchenette. Very good location and close to everything we liked to do. The staff was friendly except for the man with the coconut looking head who was not nice! The biggest negative was the parking. We did not expect to pay for parking, and at $30 a day, that added up.

Nothing Pearl about the hotel.

Nothing like what the picture shows, they should remove the carpet that is in the hallways. It feels dirty and outdated. The furniture also was outdated and the lighting was dimmed. The whole feel of the location seemed sketchy.

By the beach

No frills. You must pay for parking. Best part is you can walk to the beach in 5 min.
