Close to shopping and restaurants

first Check in but no rooms available so we had to wait, finally got a room and we’re in the room unpacking, about 30 minuets later “someone “ came in without knocking the door and I was changing my clothes, I guess the person was surprised to see there’s people in the room and he shuts the door, my husband and I were shocked, what happened to the common courtesy? I told the front desk what has happened, next day the housekeeping people called and said one of the staff forgot the cleaning bucket in the room so she wants to come in and get the bucket back, I told them the person came in is a male not female so I don’t know what are they talking about, the hotel changed our room to a bigger room 2 days later, I travel a lot this is the experience that I will never forget!

Lovely Hotel and excellent staff

Excellent stay, hotel in a good position near town and beach. Pity that the pool is so small. Beach bag a great idea and very welcome. Facilities In the room could not be bettered. The welcome on arrival after a long journey was sincere and warm.

Location: Waikiki is a perfect location for this hotel
Great vacation enhanced by Trump Hotel experience. Outstanding view of city and ocean. Very comfortable beds. Friendly staffs.

Great hotel and will return

Staff was wonderful and helped us with everything we asked from tickets to late check out. Only complaint and it is minor. Breakfast was below average. 100 feet away was great breakfast so no problem. Would definitely return.

Excellent hotel!!

Close to the beach, shopping, dining.. all walking distance. The hotel & staff was superb!! Without a doubt my next visit to Hawaii, my stay will be here. Thanks for the experience!!

Nice but not on beach.

My Experience

I only have one negative comment but the failure of the hotel staff occurred on three separate occasions. #1 - Prior to my arrival, I contacted the front desk and advised them that this my honeymoon and asked if they do a little something for Honeymooners. I was told that a special gift would be placed in our room prior to arrival. When we entered the room, nothing was there. #2 - My wife and I also happened to be there for her birthday. I went down to the concierge to inquire about various restaurants to celebrate her birthday. At that time, I also mentioned the honeymoon gift we did not get. I was advised she will look into this. I did get a voicemail Co firming the birthday dinner reservation and was told the dining staff was made aware if the gift and it would be there that night. Guess what... nothing! #3 - I called the next day to inquire again. The conceriege Manning the desk apologized for this oversight and would send it up right away. Again, we received nothing. We had a great trip but it would have been nice if the hotel staff could have accommodated this little request or just tell me we don't do that. Having asked three times makes me feel a bit awkward.

Nicest Hotel Ever!!

Hotel was top notch and I'm very hard person to impress. Was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in by far. Staff was super nice and friendly they even gave us a late check out time as well. We would recommend to anyone to stay here. The only issue I saw was the carpet in the room needed to be cleaned in a spot or two but this was very minor. Overall would stay here again and again. Stayed 5 days for honeymoon.
