Disappointed and Overcharged

Posted Jul 10, 2017
I've stayed at this hotel many times over the past 6+ years and have always recommended it to friends. The service was always great and I liked that its a smaller hotel and not a high-rise like everything else. Well this is the first time that I got overcharged. I always get the kamaaina rate of 15.00 for valet however was told i couldnt because i booked with expedia. I was also charged a higher rate for one night when i was told it would be one rate for all three nights. I also got charged an additional person fee for all three nights when my son only stayed one night. I had checked out early in the morning and had no time to argue these charges as I had a flight to catch. I'm not one to return food if the order is wrong or complain if something's not right but I couldn't believe when I looked at the receipt. After this I don't know if I'll ever be back at this hotel again, i just hope it doesn't happen to someone else. I'm actually coming to Oahu in a few weeks and decided to stay at another hotel and hope it's a good experience.

nice small hotel

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Enjoyed the layout of our room. It had a small balcony with chairs outside, tiny hallway to our room which made it seem more open. Only thing I wish the bedding was a little more comfortable.

Good enough.

More than I expected. For my needs, just a chance to get away. It was nice. I kinda expected more from the free breakfast buffet but it was filling anyway. I'd stay here again.

Reasonably close to beach. Has basic amenities.

Posted Jul 7, 2017
Pros: Location. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Furniture in room could be updated. Bathroom could be renovated.
Location: Close to Waikiki beach, shopping, army museum. Bus stop close to hotel. Ala Moana Shopping centre is a short bus ride.
The location was good. The room was OK. However, there was a bad smell in the room which never went away. I"m not sure if it was the previous guests or it was a permanent smell. The bathroom needs renovating. The furniture was also quite old.

Seventy's Bathroom

Posted Jul 4, 2017
Pros: The bed was comfortable and nice size TV.
Cons: Remodel your bathroom. Buffet - at least some scrambled eggs.
The bathroom floor title is so bad, you really can't tell if the floor was clean. The bathroom ceiling is falling apart. The sink vanity looks like something out of the seventy's, in bad condition. The sleeping area was nice and you could tell it had been remodeled recently. Breakfast buffet was a joke. Hard Boil eggs, bagels, white bread, muffins, cereal and fruit.

Not nice

Posted Jul 3, 2017
Room is outdated, not worth it. Outside of the front check in looking nice. The room is so ugly and scary.
