"It's about the location and quality"
Arrived back in Honolulu 07:15 following my 7 day island cruise, got a Taxi to the Hilton ( 25 dollars) . Welcoming receptionist with the usual smile that just makes you feel everything is in hand and organised. She was apologetic about the room not being ready at this time in the morning.
Obviously room wouldn't be ready until later but just dropped off my luggage and went exploring, found a shop, bar, cafe which is integrated into the hotel. After a nice coffee crossed the road near another famous coffee shop into the international mall where top class shops were opening, don't let your female partners near these shops you will be there forever.
Coming out the other end of the mall I was near to the Holiday Inn hotel where I stayed previously. A short walk from here and I am on Waikikki beach relaxing for another 2 hours, Back to the Hilton foyer and hay presto I am allocated a room with partial sea view on the 18th floor. Wow this room is modern, microwave, tea coffee facilities which I get stuck into sorting while sorting out my shopping supplies into the empty small size fridge,I found the coffee provided is good quality. Plenty of cupboard space for hanging clothes, storing cases, could do with a few more drawers, loads of USB sockets for that electronic stuff, massive bed and TV,big walk in shower, could do with a bit more water pressure but its modern and clean. Close to shops, beach, convenience stores restaurants, bus stops. Great stay, great staff, will return,Thank you all
