Nice hotel very clean.

Pros: staff and clean area
Location: We stayed with the purpose of going to FLYCA family day so did not do things in Waldo
the desk clerk was very friendly and polite and the rooms were clean . they are remodeling but the are keeping the mess to a minimum so it was not a problem. Close to camp Blanding so will stay there again I am sure.

Monster Truck Nightmare

Room was depressing. Furniture was old and dirty. Mini fridge was pecuriously perched on a piece of cardboard but still wobbled. Tiny microwave was placed on top of wobbly mini frig. Room needed deep cleaning. But the real detraction was the mud bog arena behind the hotel.From 9pm till 1am sleep was impossible unless the reving engines of monster trucks are your idea of a lullaby.

We are sorry that you were unhappy with your stay. We are currently doing a full renovation which will include new carpet, tile, paint, furniture as well as many other things. We apologize for the mud bog thing. It was the first time that they have done that type of event in the 4 years that I have been employed at the hotel. We were mis-informed as to the end time for the event. Hopefully if they hold an event of that type in the future they will hold it during the daytime. Again, we apologize that you we unhappy with your stay.

They over charged me for my room told me one room would be 87.00 dollars because the garbage was in the room from the previous guests and the toilet seat was broken .did not tell them that the second room was dirty stay there every year for the races was disappointed

Waldo area doesn't offer much for entertainment, but the hotel itself us consistently clean, courteous employees, etc. Only complaint for this visit, as we are return customers of this location, was an issue with water pressure in shower and no stopper to fill the tub. Otherwise, fantastic as always. Perfect location for attending the Gatornationals each year.

The staff are EXCELLENT, but the room was not

Let me preface this by saying, we had stayed here before in 2015, and really liked it. It was a great hotel for the price. However, this time around was not as great of an experience. The staff are WONDERFUL, but we found German roaches, and the carpet was so dirty that our feet were BLACK! The tub was also very dirty. I had to actually clean the sink before I bathed my baby in it. It was terribly disappointing because that was not the case with our last stay here. :(
