The hotel is in need of brand new carpet or detailed cleaning of the current flooring. The male receptionist was very understanding and did change our room, but the second room still had some visible stains. He did do his job by following up to ask if we were okay with the second choice, but I was too tired to change again. The tub had a rusted area around the water spout. The general decor of the hotel is nice, so I hope management pursues some minor, but much needed cleanliness/renovating projects. The hotel location is greatly needed at its current location between Brandywine MD and Clinton MD.

Don't Go

The hotel added an additional $100 incidental and wouldn't allow me to use cash. They still haven't given me the $100 back. The neighborhood isn't the greatest. Also we went for the indoor pool as well. But every morning they had an aquatics class. And two nights they had a pool volleyball tournament. No ONE told us we would have limited availability to get into pool because these people have a gym membership there. My kids were so upset! Then on days we could use pool, they would fix pool rope and give the white people 1/3 of pool, while blacks got 2/3 of pool. My son went over to black side and was yelled to get back on "HIS" side. I DO NOT recommend this place as we felt segregated for being white.

Good but a little bit of a hassle

When we got there the desk clerk was on the phone arguing with a travel site about their cancellation policy. This resulted in her not giving me her full attention. Got up to our room and our keys didn't work. Went back down and got replacement keys. Then I realized that not only did we not receive our breakfast vouchers but that they showed us staying for 1 night when we were booked for 4. So another trip down to the front desk. Additionally, we requested an extra blanket the first night which didn't arrive until night 2. Requested a "Do Not Disturb" sign that never arrived.
