8.8/10 Excellent! (1,014 reviews)
Very, very nice breakfast each morning. Spacious and useful lobby and dining area.
Room was nicely outfitted with clean spacious bathroom. Great shower and amenities. Pool is of a good size and area is well-maintained with friendly, helpful staff I saw each morning.
Two complaints, though not terribly serious:
1) bedding isn't the best quality and feels it. Nice bed, but upgraded linens would help a lot.
2) Housekeeping for our room: Hotel info states that housekeeping comes every other day. (we were there for four nights) I double-checked mid-morning after our second night and was told they would come if they could. A housekeeper did show up...I asked if they could give us 15 minutes...a reluctant "yes" was the answer. When we returned to our room about four hours later, the room was untouched. Shortly thereafter, a housekeeper came into the room without knocking, but left, without speaking, when he saw my grandson sleeping. When we walked out an hour or so after that, the same housekeeper happened to be in the hallway and asked me if I wanted our room cleaned. I asked him if he had time, and he replied "No." (This became a standing joke between me and my teen grandson for the remainder of our stay, so there's that.) We just decided to forego housekeeping for the remainder of our stay.
Overall, nice place and we would stay again! And price is right!

9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,790 reviews)
Dear Etage Executive Living,
Your property is beautiful, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The apartment is spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the social/game room was a great bonus. With that said, I did run into a few issues during my stay.
The frameless double sliding shower door appears to be out of level, so it constantly slides to one side while showering. The bathroom tissue holder was also loose and appears to have been installed improperly.
On the second night, around 1:00 a.m., the carbon monoxide alarms began beeping. Since there isn't a phone to reach the front desk, I walked over to report it. I was told to remove the batteries because there was nothing else staff could do. Unfortunately, with a 12-foot ceiling and me standing at 4'10", that wasn't exactly an option. :-) I also wasn't comfortable disabling a safety device myself, since I believe that should be handled by the property's staff or maintenance team. Since I was checking out the next morning and wasn't offered another apartment, I didn't want to make a fuss, so I was grateful for my overpacking habit, I had earplugs!
In the end, I could only laugh at the combination of the self-closing shower door and the suggestion to remove batteries from an alarm I couldn't possibly reach. Despite these issues, I had a great stay. With a few maintenance fixes, this property would be outstanding. I hope this feedback is helpful for future guests.

After the 3rd party booking app messed up our reservation, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and reassuring. They cleared up the issue and provided further information to ensure we would not be taken advantage of further. Every staff member from bartender to bell hop was courteous and helpful. Every member of staff we encountered were exceptional. The food however, left much to be desired and the cleanliness was fine but not comforting eg. dust and grime in corners, dirty cutlery, and the windows were noticeably unkept.

"The Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh is an awesome location with amazing views of the rivers, stadiums and Fort Pitt/Fort Duquesne. However, it is a dated property and quite busy. The result is that attention to detail is lacking. The room we had had a basically broken bathroom door that was very challenging ..."
