room fine and breakfast fine ............ great for an overnight stay .. breakfast was all you need with yogurt and boiled eggs

Didn't like the fact that we had to walk a very long way to a basement elevator. I understand we were staying in a hotel on Memorial weekend, but it would have help have a bagage dollie or assistance with our luggage. When we arrived, I went to the front desk to sign in and children came from out of the woodwork, eatting and requesting for several items. When I started down to the basement stairs with our luggage, there the children once again and I needed to request that they move so I could get past them??? Where were the parents???

Thank you for your review. Indeed, those parents should have been supervising those kids! I finally told them it was "hotel quiet time" and that they needed to go to their room and stay there. In the future, for quick and easy access to both a luggage cart and the elevator, enter through the front MIDDLE entrance ramp, and both will be conveniently located on your right. Location: Wine tasting, lots of wine tasting.
A very nice place to stay. Rooms quite, pool was clean.

Room condition was fine. Bed was very uncomfortable. Staff was helpful and courteous. One swith for light and fan in the bathroom was annoying. Room was clean. Cost for the Friday night was very high for this type of hotel.

Pros: convenient location
Cons: facility is aging, needs remodeling. Breakfast is fine, but room is too small.
Staff is great, but facility need an up-grade. see "What if anything, could be improved?"

A nice weekend stay

Pros: It was available for that particular weekend.
Cons: Breakfast accomodations
Location: Located fairly close to the airport area of wineries.
This was a last minute change to our plans to visit Walla Walla for wine release weekend. We were fortunate to find a room anywhere I think. They, as all hotels in the area for that weekend, apparently had raised their rates significantly. Definitely overpriced for a regular weekend rate. When we arrived we discovered that Expedia had booked us for two rooms, not one. The front desk folks were very friendly and as helpful as they could be in working it out. The rooms were clean, a bit of a musty smell, but certainly acceptable. The beds were a bit more like the old box spring type of beds, not terrible, just not a modern type of mattress. The breakfast area is not nearly large enough, people standing around and getting in each other's way, that was probably the worst part of the stay. We didn't even attempt to eat there the second morning, even if it was "free". Honestly the double booking by Expedia was probably as big a problem as anything.

Out dated

Smelled musty. No toiletries. Very out dated. If you just need a bed and shower good enough.

Location: Good location
One small bar of soap. Very small shampoo. I small coffee. I paid 153 dollars for that?
