On the upside, the room was clean including the linens, the mattress was comfortable and the bed topped with plenty of pillows. A big TV was nicely positioned opposite the bed. On the downside, the room had the rank smell of a smokers' lounge and that oder permeated everything. The room was also cold.
The only heat source, unfortunately, was baseboard heat and that means the space isn't going to warm up for a while. Because I arrived late in the evening, after attending a high school football game, I decided to skip a nice hot shower because I figured that by the time the room was a comfortable temperature it would be midnight.
Though the bed was comfy and the pillows nice and cushy, my sleep was interrupted by what sounded like a shovel being drug, at intervals, across gravel or blacktop. Then I realized it was the person in the next room over snoring. All I could do was laugh and try to go back to sleep. I was out of there before 6:00 a.m. to drive home to Spokane and my own breakfast.
