Over priced for what you received. Hotel old

Posted Sep 25, 2016
Pros: The check in clerk.
Cons: Just about everything. Needs a complete renovation in every aspect.
Location: Downtown. Our event was 30 miles away.
Breakfast was terrible. Frozen waffles and stale muffins.

Older

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Pros: Location is good for down town Walla Walla, just a short walk
Cons: update carpets, décor and bathrooms
Location: Wine tasting walk, large thriving downtown local stores and fantastic restaurants, almost something every weekend
The hotel is older and dated in the building and décor. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Very nice and the beds were very comfortable.

Pros: the beds.
Cons: customer service.
Location: nice walking to city center.
We only slept then showered and left, but very comfortable. The staff couldn't answer any of my general questions, they acted as if we were bothering them by asking questions.

Close to Downtown

Posted Jul 26, 2016
Pros: Pet friendly
Cons: Plumbing was horrible; shower door wouldn't close, toilet barely flushed (and I called twice for repair), A/C was loud and barely kept room cool.
Location: Within walking distance of a plethora of wine tasting rooms and directly across from Whitman College.
Bad plumbing, small rooms, lackadaisical staff but it is well within walking distance to all downtown attractions. It is priced below most other hotels in the area, as it should be. We appreciated that it was pet-friendly and the staff tried to be efficient. It is a basic room with very little room to move around (the bathroom door was one foot from the edge of the bed). It was quiet, which was nice.

Close to campus

Posted Jul 18, 2016
It was only a block away from the Wittman campus. The room and bathroom were clean enough, but the foldout bed (which I am certain hardly gets use) had an odd odor. Otherwise it had an appropriate rating. Staff was friendly.

Affordable hotel, great downtown location

Posted Jul 14, 2016
Room was comfortable; quick, easy check-in. Nice location, close to restaurants and entertainment on Main St. An affordable option for short stays in Walla Walla.

It is what it is.

If you are looking for the Ritz this is not the place for you. If you are looking a clean, inexpensive, place to sleep, then this might be the place for you. It is shabby, and needs a good rehab. But was clean, my first stop is always the bathroom to check to see if there is hair laying around. If there is hair in there then the rest of the room is not clean. I am happy to say there were no hairs. Motels where you can smoke in the rooms are few and far between. This motel still has smoking rooms.

Quiet and accommodating

Posted Jun 10, 2016
Pros: Quiet and they had a continental breakfast.
Cons: A small thing, but I found a couple of crawling bugs in the bathroom that I killed. But it was no big deal and it was only one day.
Location: It was within easy walking distance of the downtown area with shops and restaurants. A big grocery store was only a few blocks away.
It was a nice room for what I paid and even had a mini-fridge, a microwave oven, and a wide-screen TV that I wasn't expecting. It also had a phone in the room with free outgoing local calls that was convenient. The air conditioning worked very well that greatly helped with the 100 degree weather days that we had. And even though I didn't use it, there was a nice swimming pool that looked clean and rather refreshing.
