“Always love staying at Wilderness!! Everything you need in one building!!”

“Overall, we were satisfied and very satisfied with breakfast. It was lovely. The beds were clean, lobby clean etc. The only questionable thing was our bathroom wasn’t 100% very usable but only because we had wipes to clean it with…… we’re talking to hairs and dust along the edges of the bathroom and things that make you question the other part. I wouldn’t not stay here again because of it, but it was a bit disappointing.”

“Place was so welcoming and inviting with a very cozy living room/front desk area. Fun Appalachian/Black Bear (“Appy”) theme all throughout hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful—even got an earring for me that had fallen down the drain. Adirondack chairs out front to enjoy view from. Swimming pool looked super fun with an swirly tube slide and fountain in the middle. Continental Breakfast included but there was also a Flapjacks restaurant next door. Also great about this place is that it’s near……

“Very clean place to stay. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook with. There was a Bear on front porch the first night we got there. Amazing views from the back porch. Our kids enjoyed the upstairs room to themselves and played a few games that were in little nook area upstairs and enjoyed playing in the huge bathtub upstairs. Drive is a little ways up but the views are absolutely worth it. The pool was open but was very cold so we didn't stay in it to long. Would definitely stay……
