Great for the most part.

Good all around, especially the complimentary happy hour! My biggest gripe is the mandatory valet service - Expect to pay an additional $25 dollars a day for parking and if you have to leave in the morning when everyone else does, plan to take an addition 10 minutes to wait for your car.

Good breakfast

Posted Jan 9, 2018
I’m disappointed because the indoor pool was not Available. It was in the website . They should have at least put it in the website that pool is not working. Imagine the disappointment of a 7 year old kid after a Christmas break, hoping to swim that late afternoon. The Happy hour and breakfast are OK and room also is very nice and comfortable.

I am sorry that the indoor pool wasn't available. I am glad that you had a nice and comfortable newly remolded suite.

The hotel was nice and a good representation of the Hilton brand. The pool was closed due to renovation though there wasn't any information on the Hotel site or Expedia stating this fact. This was very disappointing as the reservation was made on two factors, pool and breakfast. The benefit of staying at Embassy Suites is the cooked to order breakfast and the manager's reception in the evening. Both lacked the taste and quality that I have enjoyed at other Embassy Suites.

The chairs and bench seats are rather worn and need to be refurbished.

Nice convenient and comfortable stay.

Staff was friendly, and accommodating to requests for late check out. Room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary food was very basic but not bad.

Save your money and stay somewhere else

Posted Jan 2, 2018
Wow what a horrible experience. Room was nice but food out bed was horrible. Hotel did not disclose pool and jacuzzi was closed for remodeling. Charged $25 a night for parking so your vehicle is safe (do not park your car in the free parking) arrived to a bunch of kids running around the lobby, playing on the elevator and the smell of weed all 4 days. The hotel allowed multiple parties to be booked on New year's Eve with lots of ghetto teenagers running around blasting music and causing kaos. The free buffet was over runned with huge family's staying there leaving only runny eggs and sausage available for everyone else. No security and not enough staff to control the amount of people were staying in each room. Not what I expected for a hotel in Walnut Creek. Paid over $500 for a horrible experience and a hotel that lets pretty much anyone in there.

Christmas: the day after the Party.

Posted Dec 27, 2017
Overdoing tests everyone. Crazed parents and zombie children ...staff keeps cleaning or not cleaning if you prefer. They ran out of seating, Coffee, newspapers...Staff kept Working relentlessly cheerful and a couple Hours later dishes and windex and “more Coffee” caught up with the valet parking And the front desk discharging the “Full Occupancy” wedding-pajama Party-Christmas Present! Breakfast and a show. Nice people: Great service.

Adequate hotel

Posted Dec 25, 2017
The lobby was freezing cold. The pillows were horrible. Beds were pretty comfortable. Had to pay for valet in Walnut Creek. It’s not the city. There should be a self park option. The waters were $6. Price gouging at its best.

Hotel close to BART

Posted Dec 24, 2017
Cons: Nothing
Every year we visit SF around Xmas. This year we decided to stay in Walnut Creek and take BART into the city. We shopped in the Creek and SF. Very convenient and the hotel with a great breakfast perfectly fit our needs. Would definitely stay here again.
