Good place to spend a day or week.

It was a pleasant, quiet space which means a lot to me. The breakfast was actually tasty, which is unusual for free hotel breakfasts. Lots of great restaurants around.

A wonderful hotel!

Pros: Location, neighborhood, room, service
We were a little concerned when we drove up to the hotel. It's next to an auto repair shop, and isn't impressive from the street. But we absolutely enjoyed our two day stay. There's a nice trail from the hotel to the Charles River, which is a great place for a walk. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from "restaurant row" in downtown Waltham, where we had two excellent dinners. The rooms are spacious and come with a full kitchen. The hotel staff were extremely helpful -- we were in Boston for the Head of the Charles Race, and they helped us figured out the Boston MBTA system. Even the free breakfast was a pleasant surprise -- the buffet varies from day to day, and is freshly prepared!

One night in suburb of Boston,,, poor service

Disappointing experience. We had mistakenly reserved a handicap room. While another room was clearly available. We needed to go online to cancel first, even though the room was the same price. We had called in advance about an early check-in. The hotel had kept no record of the call and was "somewhat" accommodating. Lastly, the room had a distasteful odor of an industrial cleaner. The room was clean, but given the chemical smell, not so inviting. This is my first negative review ever!!

Roomy hotel close to Boston

We picked this to be close to Boston University. It was about 8 miles away. We had the king room with a queen sleeper sofa for 2 adults and one child. We ended up bringing my mom along and got an extra cot in the room for my son. There was plenty of room for all of us. The parking was free and easy, the wifi was good and the free breakfast was great! They had a coffee bar that offered cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate and more. Also eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, hash browns, cereal, breads. It was a nice start to the morning. The staff was helpful and friendly. We walked to a pizza place called Franco's about 2 blocks away and got great pizza and they let you go into the connected bar next door and bring over wine and beer to enjoy with dinner. I don't think you can go wrong stating here!
