My wife and I were impressed with the friendly atmosphere we encountered immediately and that it continued for our entire 5-day visit. Our room was perfect, as was the service. My wife even suggested that it was equal to, or better, than our 6-day stay at the Bellagio in Las Vegas where we stayed last year. Restaurants in the immediate area were outstanding. We will return without question.

Hot Weekend

My friends and I had a blast at Harrahs Casino in New Orleans. The hotel is definitely a A+, Danny at the front desk was also super amazing. Thanks for a good time Harrahs

Really nice hotel love the proximity to the casino and other attraction near by. The city however seems to be going downhill since Katrina. Homeless population was off the chart.

Disappointing service.

Pros: Cleanliness. Location.
Cons: The service needs to be improved dramatically. The staff needs training. The wifi needs to be upgraded.
Location: This is a great location. Easy access to French Quarter, Warehouse District, Casino, Convention Center, restaurants, bars, etc.
There are lots of good things about this hotel: The rooms are comfortable and clean and up to date. The bed and shower are nice (the two most basic things that need to be right for a hotel). However, I was disappointed overall with my stay. First check in was awful. Only 1 person ahead of me in line, with another 2 parties at the desk already checking in, and it tool longer than 15 minutes. I have no idea what the problem was, but 2 people were working on each of the other check-ins, while THREE other people stood around doing other things at the front. Next was the "resort fee". The basic wifi that is included with the resort fee is 100% useless, just a scam to entice you to pay for premium. Next my room was not cleaned until after 5:00pm each day. It's really disappointing to come back from a day-long conference to an unmade room. When the maid comes right after I return and I have to leave again in order for her to clean it is unacceptable. Also, when I am on a mutli-day trip I tend to accumulate a lot of change. I take my change out of my pocket and put it on the table. After the third day of doing so, the maid took my change. I know, I know, many people leave a tip out for the maid and I don't REALLY mind that she took it. In 30+ years of traveling I have NEVER had that happen. No other maid at even the cheapest hotels I have stayed at have assumed that change is theirs. Finally, I did not get my wake up call on the last morning and almost missed my flight.
