Hotel is under renovation !

Was woken up early with drilling right outside our door ! Hotel Manager did not want to compensate ... said someone should had told me it was under renovation ... No one informed me (Harrahs or Expedia ). If this ....

Honestly I've stayed here a few times the staff in the casino were GREAT ... it was just a bunch of little things through my stay that bothered me

Front Desk

Front Desk is outsourced to a call center and response in the hotel is poor. Called several times for a coffee machine replacement and staff never came to my room. Called Expedía customer service to complain. The Hotel staff changed it hours later. Parcking is expensive $30 and far from the rooms.

Very nice and located in walking distance to most of what we wanted to see and what was further away the tram was able to get us there.

location & concierge excellent - housekeeping not

Pros: Concierge was amazing. Super helpful, excellent suggestions and handled tour booking too!
Cons: Housekeeping needs to be drastically improved.
Location: super close to everything - shopping, Canal street, the river....great location.
excellent location, lovely staff, the concierges were amazing and so helpful. The room cleanliness however was quite disturbing. One of the rooms our group stayed in had mouse droppings in the bathroom and even after 2 requests to have it cleaned - it was still not done. The guests cleaned it themselves. Bathroom counters were not wiped down, the cubby where the coffee pot was hadn't been dusted in weeks. Overall the cleanliness was not the standard we are used to from Harrah's. It's a shame because other than that - the hotel was excellent.

Nice hotel but staff disappointed

My stay started off rocky. I paid extra for a Riverview room and was given a room across from the parking garage for my first two days. After reporting this issue to Expedia, the hotel management upgraded my room to a corner suite with a Riverview for my last two days. The suite was really nice and I appreciated it but I would have preferred to be given the Riverview room at check-in. I know for a fact that other guess who checked after me were given Riverview rooms.

New Orleans as usual

Hotel was in good location. Parking was absolutely terrible. Charged you $30 a 24 hour period. You had to go play slots for 30 minutes to comp the cost. A lot of money on top of high room rates.
