I enjoyed the comfortable, beautiful, jazzy decor. I also enjoyed the live music at various points of my stay. Most of all, the service was excellent! I even received a text from Marvin, the staff who checked me in, asking how my room was. The waiters and waitresses were also superb!

Good location, friendly helpful staff, lovely restaurant/bar/common area. But the room was badly lit, furniture banged up, AC and bathroom ventilation didn’t work properly, no complimentary toiletries, floor of shower stall was not clean.

I enjoyed this place and will come back again. I feel the staff was prompt and reliable. I really loved all three places peacock, king, and gospel coffee. I bought coffee apparel there! Enjoyed Ivan’s management support of my apparel. I also enjoyed the front desk chat with Aaliyah. I felt comforted with our ongoing chats and keeping me in the loop on what to do while I’m here and providing hotel service when needed. It felt like so had her service all to my own when I’m sure she had multiple folks she needed to support. A southern hospitality remote service was much needed. :)

We loved this hotel. Stylish and a great location, not too close to the party streets, but close enough to walk. There are also two wonderful restaurants. We would stay here again.

Everything from the location to the staff was absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday trip special. There was a little hiccup with a fire evacuation, and they did their best to make sure all of the guests were safe, informed, and comfortable. They even comped a breakfast for the inconvenience even though it wasn’t their fault. Thank you!!

I wish, they had a coffee machine in the room, specially for those of us leaving supper early, I prefer that to the snacks. Besides that everything else was great. Is an incredible place to adventure out of.

My family and I spent New Years at the Fontenot and had high expectations since it was a Kimpton ran hotel. From the start things went down hill for us. We arrived at 5pm after a 7 hour drive and room wasn’t ready yet. No problem, we would get drinks and food at their restaurant, which is really good. Once room was ready, we had to take the bags ourselves no bellboy service was available. Elevators take forever here. We arrived at the room and at first it seemed clean but found an opened bottle of Jameson inside the closet, I don’t know what disgust me more the opened bottle or that it was Jameson cheap liquor. No biggie I told my wife, I’ll just chuck it in the trash. Here’s where things are horrible. Next morning no one took out the trash, housekeeping did our beds but didn’t take out the trash. No problem, then my wife noticed there was just little toilet paper left, three women in my family do the math. So I called and requested some to please be sent up. Went out on the town came back and nothing. Told my wife let’s just go buy some. Next morning trash was still there and we had no towels. Called for towels 3 times until they brought them up after I had dried myself with the little towels, we had dinner reservations and we were in a hurry. There is no room service only in the mornings. The room was ok, the bathroom outdated and the Tv was falling from the bracket mount, couldn’t even move it or it would fall off. The hotel has a nice restaurants and bar. Great location.

The property was very nice and well-located. I would have really enjoyed my stay had I not been woken up at 4am by a fire alarm that was a false alarm. When we got downstairs, there was one person trying to figure things out. She ignored the guests, and there was someone else actually being a little rude about answering questions. They did not give any answers about why the alarm went off and how they were sure it was safe to go back to sleep. There was no apology or anything offered

We had an amazing experience at Kimpton Fontenot in NOLA. The entire place exuded modern, with its vibrant and updated decor. The room was spotless, and beds are comfortable. The on-site restaurant, lounge, and coffee shop all impressed us. The Peacock Lounge crafted some of the best cocktails we've had in a while, and the King Restaurant became our go-to for breakfast with its upscale ambiance and attentive staff.

There was an issue with the alarm system, it went off 4am which caused a bit of a scare, happened again the next day. Unfortunately there wasnt a messaging system available to advise guests that they were false alarms so that was disappointing- other than this the hotel is lovely and very well appointed. Very much enjoyed the 2 restaurants and the coffee shop in the morning. Would very much recommend,

A Place for the family
Absolutely no complaints- great location cause its safe, clean, and within walking distance of the WW2 museum, great restaurants, etc. Also, great service. I can't complain.

Be aware!! When you select the ‘parking’ option to prepay, it’s for bicycle parking and not for your car. This is what I was told when I contacted the hotel after checking out after a one night stay. How ridiculous!! Who rides their bikes to New Orleans? I was charged an additional $49 for one night of parking. And additional $3.50 for the minibar even though I never took anything from it. This is clearly false advertising. Make sure you confirm the specific charges before pre-paying.
