“The cabin was immaculately clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Location was perfect with the lake across the street. Gary and Missy were awesome hosts and very receptive to any questions we had. Would 100% look to return sometime in the future. ”

“This was our first VRBO stay and I have a problem: our host has set the bar very high for future stays. The house was pack full of amenities. More so than many five star hotels. And the property included many features we did not have time to enjoy in our short 2-night stay. Recently remodeled, it was tastefully decorated, and our host provided many notes to help us enjoy our visit. ”

“The room was not cleaned at all, two garbage bags were smelly and piled in the kitchen, toilet paper stained yellow left in the toilet, dirty towels all over the bathroom, crumbs on the coffee table, clothing tags left on the upstairs floor, ski lift ticket with the previous guests name on the left of bathroom vanity, the list goes on. Need less to say the place was not cleaned at all after the previous guest, I was left questioning wether the bedding was even changed.”

“Beautiful place very clean great host loved the location and the view was there with my sister . Would suggest having an ironing board unless we missed it . We didn’t cook but looked to have everything you would need. We did go out for coffee everyday we missed it up on the cabinet but thank you . I would recommend having a checkout list posted on premise and instructions for the tv we were unable to use it due to problem with the internet and tv made a few long nights . Other than that perfect……

“Very clean and cute farm house. Would suggest a handrail as walking up to the steep stairs to the second floor with luggage is very challenging. Also, the a/c units were still in and we woke up to 30 degrees and a hard frost. Tried to turn on heat to take chill out but no luck. ”

“This was the perfect stay. Super clean and comfortable! It was located just outside of Stowe and was a short and easy drive to go to Woodstock and Burlington. If you are a light sleeper, the bedroom window faces the highway and you will have the sound of cars coming into the bedroom. If that isn’t a deal breaker then this is a total steal and we would 100% stay here again! ”

“We booked a last-minute ski trip for the peak days between Christmas and New Year's, and there were very few options still available that were within our budget. This property was a great find. Super clean, quiet, just a few minutes' drive from downtown Barre, and enough parking for our two cars. As other reviewers have noted, the only bathroom is on the ground floor and all the bedrooms are upstairs, so that might make it less than ideal for people with mobility issues or families with small……
