“The hotel is very clean, staff very friendly. Unfortunately no air conditioning and when we stayed there was two weddings happening, so all the fans had been given out. The second floor hit you like a heat wave. The room was so hot I woke up feeling sick and spent sometime un tge middle of the night down stairs in the lobby to cool down the heat was unreal un the room, and the lobby had A/C. Thankfully second day we got a fan after I complained it was then bearable.. Breakfast was very nice.……

“One night stay, room(plum porter) much bigger than photos , clean comfy and in keeping with the building. Staff very friendly, beer spot on food good. “Everything about the stay, the room, staff, cleanliness were excellent. The evening meal was also very good and well priced. They only small remark is lack of options for the evening meal, however as noted we really enjoyed what we had. The thing that was not up to scratch I am sorry to say was the full English cooked breakfast. Not very generous. Sausage and beans cold, had to send back. When returned they were hit but the rest had gone cold. The sausage was vile. Genuinely Sorry to report……
