Okay in a pinch but not great

The lack of parking and smell of the room made this hotel particularily trying for my husband and I as he had just had surgery. The room was very small too.

Not good experience

too far away from Red Line; too cold room; too bad breakfast; not very comfortable room; But this hotel worth its price 85 dollars per night with king bed.

I regrets your stay was not to your expectations. Please note that we offer shuttle service to the two closest metro stops during prime hours. Also the Circulator is a complimentary bus systems that can transport you to the Bethesda Metro station. Guest services can offer a complimentary heaters. 便利でお手頃なホテル

prometricのテストセンターが近いため宿泊。裏口の間迎えがテストセンターのビルの裏口でとっても便利だった。NIHも近くシャトルバスもあるため、その目的の方には便利。シャワーの水勢が弱いのは減点。

Older hotel that needs many repairs and upgrades.

Pros: Good location. Plenty of restaurant choices nearby and easy on/off to 495. Also, was able to park in the garage. Only has 12 spaces.
Cons: Repair and upgrade the entire structure before guests start getting sick after staying there!

Checked in 1hr 23min early. Rood was small and smelled like the HVAC had not been properly cleaned in years. So bad, in fact , that I made coffee and went down the street to a convenience store to buy air freshener to cope with the smell. Carpet was old and dirty. Walls "bubbling" with structural damage. The sheets had 3 noticeable stains on them. 4 pillows for the Queen sized bed were all very small. Ice machine on the 4th floor was broken and the machine on the 3rd floor was working, but there was a hole in the ceiling above it that was about 5 inches in diameter and had lots of old chipped paint hanging down and there was a small plastic bucket on top of the machine to capture whatever it was that was leaking through!

There was still a bad odor in the room and hallway it smelled like diaper. And the room cleanes was not that great. Given the fact I stated there for a week. It's good if you staying for a night or two

American Inn at Bethesda

Pros: shuttle service
The a/c in the room was not cooling at all. (I reported this at check-out.) The bed was okay, but a bit lumpy and nowhere near equal to the hotels where I have stayed in the past. When I entered the room the very first time, I smelled old cigarette smell, but did not notice it again. The shuttle service was very nice, and there was no hesitation to pick me up at the Metro Station, return me there and pick me up again. Front desk service was friendly and conscientious.

Nettes Hotel

Nettes kleines Hotel im Zentrum. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und alles ist gut zu Fuss oder mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, aber völlig ausreichend und sauber. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich

Decent

Stayed here as it was close to NIH. Room was small but clean although the place shows its age. Walking distance (10-15min) to two metro stops. Close to bars and restaurants. Probably decent for the local neighborhood price.
