Nice Hotel

Pros: cozy, nice clean rooms
Cons: More choices on the restaurant menu
Location: The hotel is about 5 minutes from the National Geographic Museum and a couple of Embassy's.
The staff was very polite and helpful. My room was great! I arrived early and the front desk was most helpful in getting me into a room without having to wait a few hours. I'd stay there again!

Large rooms and convenient location

We stayed 2 nights to tour Washington and were pleasently surprised with the overlarge comfortable room and bathroom and excellent location at walking distance to the main attractions. Carpets could use a deep clean.

Location: Too far from METRO Stations
The overall stay was good, nothing flashy, just good.

The Beacon is in a great location with plenty of stores to shop or eat with in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay there.

It's a convenient location for the price. But you're not getting much for it. In my room, the tv acted funny a couple times, turning off on its own. An electrical outlet in the bathroom didn't work well. But the toiletries were good. Lots of wasted space in the room, which has a dividing wall, that seemed to suggest it was once a conference room maybe?

Good view, good room condition, only found the room phone does not work, hope they can improve for that, overall experience for staying there is great.

Convenient to everything Better than expected!

Location: Already stated above.
In all honesty, for the price we were amazed at every aspect of the hotel. Very convenient to numerous restaurants, and to two Metro stations -in easy walking distance. We had a lovely suite and while this place is older, it is definitely charming and the staff is very kind and helpful.

Clean, quiet hotel close to Metro

Pros: Convenient, safe area.
Cons: Housekeeper came abit early, about 8:30a
Location: Few mins walk to Metro, within walking distance to the White House, and National Mall.
Helpful, friendly staff. Hotel is abit old but kept clean. Good restaurant in the hotel, it's nice that hotel guests get a discount at the restaurant. Within walking distance to Metro, and White House.
