Good value in a good location

We were greeted by a man who told us parking at the hotel was $48 per night. While I was looking for a spot on the street, my wife waited for several minutes at the check-in counter before the desk person attended to her. Other than this rather chilly reception, the rest was fine. The room was spacious and clean, and the the bed was comfortable, which were the most important things we were looking for.
