The staff was fantastic. Amanda and the rest of the staff worked very hard to make the guest experience better in the times of staffing and supply shortages. Joe, the shuttle driver was excellent and dived right in wherever needed.

I booked this location because it had a pool for the kids and hot tub for me. Get there and was told neither would be open for the year and it supposedly stated that on the website. Oh and paid $25 as a guest to park over night. And a $50 incident fee. Which wasn't true. I spent over 200.00 for a room and couldn't even entertain my children there. We had to stay in the room the entire time with nothing to do. What a waste of time and money.

The hotel room accommodations are nice but the location is awful! You wouldn’t want to walk anywhere from here, even though it is about 1.5 miles from the National Mall. This hotel is on the edge of the city in the middle of a construction zone! We are on a 10 day across country road trip and about to make a 10 hour drive next. We value the time at the hotel to recharge for the next drive but the 2 days we were here we were woken up at 6:45 am with hammering from the construction site!! And I sleep with ear plugs!! Why would you put anyone on that side of the building or at least warn your guests?? While the rest of the country is opening up, there was still no amenities available. No gym or pool. And the breakfast left much to be desired. Whole milk and corn flakes and some prepackaged danishes. I usually love Homewood Suites but this location left me very disappointed.
