High price ($279) for small, noisy, airless room with window on a parking lot. No housekeeping service btwn night 1 and 2. Good location, but the cost far exceeded the quality of experience.

We were extremely happy with our stay. The staff, who were a diverse group, were superb! Each day they greeted us warmly and ensured we had all we needed. The dinning options in the area were phenomenal. We were able to try a variety of restaurants over the 5 day trip, ALL within walking distance. The area, generally, was safe and clean. We did note broken car window glass in the street several times. It is well lit, with close homes but it does get very quiet during the middle of the night. So I recommend using the valet option if you are renting a vehicle. Overall, BOOK IT! You won’t regret.

Great spot - quiet neighborhood very near (but not on)n Dupont Circle. Nice walk to the mall, lots of dining and shopping nearby. What's not to like?

We were amazed at how friendly, helpful and welcoming the women at the front desk were. We encountered four different women during our stay and each one was impressive. They alone would guarantee we make a return visit.

Unpleasant stay overall
Bathroom sink and shower faucets only dispensed hot water. No cold water no matter which way you turned the handles. Alarm clock was set for 6am, not by me. Room and entire floor had a very heavy scent of cologne and rubbing alcohol. Just an unpleasant stay overall.

We had a nice stay at this property. We were here for three nights. We were on the second floor, but would recommend asking for a higher floor due to noise outside. Our room was right above the front door so there were always people right outside the window, and on Saturday night there were rowdy people screaming early in the morning which kept us up. The elevators were dirty and worn and their carpeting was worn. We used the stairs since it was only one flight. The room looks like it was recently upgraded, and the furnishings are great. We loved the complimentary water. The king room is compact and there are no drawers, so in our opinion it would be better for a solo traveler. All of the people at the front desk were lovely! The hot apple cider in the lobby was a very nice touch. It’s within 10 mins walking distance to two different metro stations on the red line. Overall, we would stay here again if we wanted to be in the Dupont Circle area.

Great DuPont Circle Hotel
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great - close to DuPont Circle but off enough to be quiet.

Good for short stints.
Overall, it’s a good hotel if you’re not going to need to stay that long of a period the staff is very accommodating and very well mannered. Huge thank you to Ayohnna Preacher who was the front desk agent and gave me great recommendations for eating. What are the major downsides to the hotel? Are the rooms and selves feel extremely barren. They have no closets, ironing, steamer so if you’re there for a business trip you have to make sure to ask for these in advance. I’m sure that they’ll give it. however, it is not, super convenient
