Nice hotel within walking distance to attractions.

Nice hotel with very nice staff. Walking distance to main attractions (monuments and Smithsonians. Very close to good pizza restaurant, Subway and Starbucks.

I booked a king, but they put me in a room with double beds that was stained and filthy. Bathroom dirty. Moved me the second night and room was nice

It was a fantastic stay. The staff is phenomenal, the hotel is beautiful and our room was very clean. Overall we were extremely impressed with our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Marvelous Madison Hotel!

Pros: Exemplary service, gorgeous environment
Location: Within walking distance of everywhere I needed to go
From the moment my foot hit the curb of the front of the hotel, the staff were there to welcome me! Incredible service for two sensational days at the Madison! Nothing but helpful, professional and courteous service by all staff, who could not do enough to make my stay more pleasurable.

Parking is horrible. Very high price for overnight parking.

Hotel is well located. Front desk is ok, but impersonal. Room is very noisy due to old heating/ air conditioning units. Gym is from the 1980's Otherwise, it is well apppinted. But it looks like it has too many bandaids. Not sure I would return given that they charged me for the internet when Expedia plus VIP guests should get it for free. Unfortunately I left with a sense of dishonesty from them.

The hotel staff was great, helpful and friendly. The restaraunt was delicious. My only complaint would be there was no coffee in the room.

Cons: We had two rooms. One of the rooms was dirty when we entered....Housekeeping did not touch it. It was about 5:50 pm. The hotel itself is nice.

We had two rooms. One of the rooms was dirty when we entered....Housekeeping did not touch it. It was about 5:50 pm. The hotel itself is nice. Also we had another issue with valet parking. We gave away the car for only 15 minutes and they charged $12 ( plus $3 tips ) instead of $9 as was said on the banner. With prices like these ( the hotel in general) and the room issue they could've let us park 15 minutes complimentary.
